one of the best MICHELIN GUIDE restaurant!service was the best, explained well on how the food will come (tapas style : out when its cooked) & described the menu wellwe ordered :- fried artichoke (7/10) : mix of salty from the frying oil and sour from the yoghurt- duck liver parfait (9/10) : very delicious! savoury from the pate combined with the toast & berry jam- cod cheeks (9/10) : texture’s nice & a bit chewy just like scallop- grilled coley (4/10) : too salty for us unfortunately- slow cooked lamb shoulder (10/10) : MUST TRY! very delicious, lamb was very tender & juicy, combined with the herbs it was like HEAVEN- pan seared pork fillet (9/10) : delicious & tasty, pork is juicy & succulent- dry rump steak (9/10) : peppercorn sauce compliments the juicy meati recommend u to reserve online before visiting as it gets crowded

Celebrated my master’s degree there. My friend and I can definitely confirm that this is the best food we ever tried. Explosion of the tastes and something totally different. Things that you think do not go together, well in this restaurant they go perfectly well. Should definitely go there and book in advance. Also it is not expensive and try to try as many plates, I recommend to share the plates. Unfortunately we were so full and couldn’t try dessert, I heard that they are amazing as well.

The Ox and Finch never ceases to amaze us both in terms of quality and service. The best thing about their dishes is how amazed you can be by the seemingly simplest of dishes. At our meal last night we decided to skip the sweets and ordered another plate of the fried artichokes with garlic yoghurt and burnt Aleppo butter as the flavours blew us away.In our mind this is the best restaurant in Glasgow and never disappoints.

Hands down our favorite restaurant in a 4 days stop in Glasgow. Every single thing that hit our table was spot on. We kept ordering because the flavors, presentation, & service were delightful. I would 10 out of 10 suggest making this a priority stop. But I would make a reservation before showing up it was busy!

We were there for our team dinner and we really enjoyed the Food. They were all small plates and we tried most of them. The rib eye steak Was definitely a must try.It definitely is a must try Restaurant when you are in Glasgow.Thank you for the good Food.

Delightful find. Really lovely restaurant. The menu is tapas-style and food is brought when ready. It is ideal for sharing. Some cold dishes arrived immediately some of the hot dishes took a wee bit of time. Mixture of tastes and textures is superb. Booking in advance is probably essential especially for a larger group. Reasonably priced for the standard of food.

Brilliant restaurant, highly recommend!The food here is served whenever they’re ready and is tapas style. The flavours here are so delicious and unique!Whipped feta is really good, the combination is chilli and honey is so unique and with perfectly toasted flat bread is a great starter!The cod cheeks with chorizos and tomatoes and morcilla on sourdough is sooo flavourful! I love this combo! The sourdough is thick with a slight crunch, this combination is super delicious.The slower coked lamb shoulder with braised barley and salsa verde is the best dish! The lamb is cooked perfectly, the salsa verde and barley all adds amazing flavour to the dish. I really enjoyed this dish, 10/10, the best lamb dishes I’ve had this year!The atmosphere here is amazing, price is decent, the portion is a lot bigger than I thought, it’s great for sharing. I ordered 3 dishes which I find to be the perfect amount, and is solo dinning friendly. The service is wonderful, Angus is super friendly and helpful!Highly recommend this restaurant if ur in Glasgow!

Good for allergies and there were only about 3 dishes that absolutely could not be made gluten free.Ordered the fried artichoke, crab and tomato and the mozzarella and apricot for starters.The mozzarella was a wee bit bland for me, but the other two dishes were flavoursome.Had the chicken for mains which was delicious.The staff were excellent and attentive.Would visit again to try other dishes.
