Thérapie Clinic - Marylebone

I have had a fantastic experience with Thaiane Karin De Jesus. I have had many laser hair removal technicians before, by far she is the best one. She takes her time and makes the experience pain and stress free. She is also very sweet and friendly and keeps me distracted during the treatment. I highly recommend her as a laser technician and if i could, i would leave her a 11/10 review!

PLEASE AVOID this company at all costs. Having spent over £700 on laser removal services, you'd never know that I went through over one year of laser appointments because I'm just as hairy. Why is this? Due to the complete failure and incompetence of the Marylebone and head office teams. My laser profile was completely mismanaged, which meant I did not receive consistent laser hair removal and each appointment was with a different person who did not give a toss about my needs. I complained so many times I've lost count - in person and over the phone to the Marylebone team, as well as over email and phone to their head office. After each complaint, they'd assure me that the team would get its act together and start treating me like a paying customer who has discussed their needs and had to reiterate them at every single appointment. This did not happen. I was left in a constant cycle of frustration and worse, the laser did not work due to this constant disruption and mismanagement. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Firstly, you will not feel listened to at all, they want your money and then want you to disappear as fast as possible. Secondly, the laser process did not even work due to atrocious management, I am just as hairy as before I started. Thirdly, when you complain about their constant incompetence, they will have the audacity to blame YOU for things going wrong. For goodness sake, avoid. One last cherry on the top: at one point, one of the laser therapists was so rude to me for reasons too private to disclose, that I felt bullied due to my physical appearance.Similar to somebody who has written below, I have never ever written a Google review before (and you can imagine the levels of bad service you can receive after living in London for over 10 years). However I also feel compelled to leave one for this terrible company and warn others NOT to get involved. I have never experienced such terrible customer service.

I had a micro needling with Joanna, she was really nice and helpful in understanding the whole procedure. Great attention to details and good approach to the client. She carefully performed the procedure asking a lot of questions about my skin condition, previous reactions and general health. I felt I’m in a very good and professional hands!

I have never written a review before even when I have been disappointed with service however the overall attitude of the staff at Thérapie Clinic Wigmore Street is so shocking to me that I feel compelled to share my experience, as it was the last straw in a series of unsatisfactory encounters.The most recent session I had was beyond frustrating. From the moment I entered, the staff made me feel unwelcome and treated me with a level of rudeness and condescension that I have never experienced before. From the get go my therapist was disinterested and gave off the impression that she considered my very existence an inconvenience to her. She refused to proceed with the treatment because I had 1-2 very very thin hairs and despite having undergone multiple sessions before, where there was far more hair present, (especially in areas that are challenging to shave) she immediately told me to get up, get dressed and reschedule. I was in a dazed state of shock for a few minutes by the complete lack of willingness to re-assess the situation and provide a solution and was refused a second opinion.The overall customer service at Therapie Clinic has consistently been subpar. In previous visits, I endured unexplained 20-minute delays, and it seems that the quality of service varies greatly with each different therapist. With only one positive experience out of several visits, it's evident that the professionalism and courtesy of the staff are far from consistent.This latest encounter was the tipping point for me, and I will not be returning to this branch. It is disheartening to spend my time and money upfront on a service that not only fails to deliver but also subjects customers to a hostile and dismissive environment. The lack of customer care and the disrespectful behavior exhibited by the staff make it an establishment I cannot recommend.

Today I had the shortest and most half asked hydrofacial in my life (!) - 15 min for 90£.It was advertised as a 30 min session and the appointment was pre-paid, so there is no way to argue your money back or express dissatisfaction. The reception stuff just told me ‘Sometimes the procedure is done faster’.I used to come here a lot a since the clinic opened a few years ago and had more than 30 skin care sessions. I have to say - it used to be consistently great, but over the past year the quality deteriorated massively.Your experience hugely depends on the specialist you see and the percentage of actually good specialists is frustratingly small. Most of the time the treatments at least 10-15 minutes late (today was 20’ late) and the length of the treatment itself gets shorter and shorter, as the stuff doesn’t do their work properly.

I was attended by a therapist who I would describe as relatively short, probably under 160cm, with a dark complexion, possibly of Indian descent. I mention these details not for the sake of appearance but to assist in identifying the specific staff member involved in my experience for your reference. And I also want her to know she ruined my day even though most likely she wouldn’t care.she was cold and impatient since the beginning, unacceptable behavior happens first when she give me less than two minutes to change and decided to intrusively opened the door before I was ready. I was literally half way undressing, and she opened the door, see it and decided to keep the door open and say “we need to be quick here” complete disregard for client privacy and dignity,set a tone of disrespect that continued throughout the session.Because of her rushing I barely have time to suitably clean and cover up myself.It was a Hollywood session for my sixth time, and when doing the bikini area, it was painfully rushed and carelessly done. There was no effort to take a little bit more time to cool down my skin even though I was trembling and “ouch”, a stark contrast to the standard practice I’ve experienced in the past since almost all the therapist I’ve experienced will usually comfort me ask me if I’m ok and extend cooling down time before continuing. I feel like being treated like a animal.She’s also the only one who didn’t ask me to adjust my position and use a small wood stick to make sure all the area was covered. Definitely lack of professionalism and attention to detail. The quality of this session is disaster as two days pass I can already troubled by hair growth at the inner area she failed to covered. This never happens before.Also, even though I paid for Hollywood, I told her she can skip butt area because I don’t know how to shave that area properly, she was super dismissive, didn’t give me any advice, which is expected since her attitude was already super cold and rushing.But after the session, she say:”next time make sure you shave properly.” This really feels offensive since I already let her skip the area and she have no communication with me about it but still complaining? It is completely unconstructive, especially considering that I had communicated my concerns upfront.Frankly I have up and down experience with this clinic, there was time they r being really nice, there was time the technician also seems a bit distant but still remain professional. This one however, feels like I am just a piece of meat with no feeling, but hey it’s a beauty clinic, it is too expensive to ignore customer service.I strongly suggest a inside investigation since I can tell I am not the only one who feel bullied by something we paid. I would love to get my refund or redo my session but I lack of confidence in their ability to provide such customer care.

First of all, I'm Asian and I never thought there was a place that was so poorly customer service on the earth . Yesterday I was 20 minutes late due to the weather, and I clearly felt the extreme impatience of the staff and kept rolling hereyes. One of the girls with chocolate skin color repeatedly accused me of being late, and told me that I could not change the time, I said that I could do it before, why not this time, she said that the rules had changed, but she could help me do parts of hair removal instead of doing the whole body. I agreed to all these requests. I can understand all this busy, stressful service performance. but what happened next was very unreal. I've never been hurt like this. After I entered the treatment room, the girl with chocolate skin color kept asking me questions in an aggressive tone, and I also replied to her in detail in the same tone. She suddenly accused me of being rude, I said that you were rude first, and I just treated you with the same attitude as you treated me. She said that she went out for a moment, and then the manager entered the room without listening to any explanation from me or letting me speak, and directly told me to get out. I have no idea what's going on. The manager deliberately left the door wide open and walked away, leaving me naked on the treatment chair, my privacy exposed to the outside world. When I criticized the manager's practice, she said she didn't care about my privacy. I heard that I want to report and complain that this white female manager directly attacked me and led all female employees to verbally attack me. I knew I couldn't reason with them and I tried to get the manager to refund me for my remaining treatments, at which point she falsely accused me of racism against her employees so she wouldn't refund my money and wouldn't serve me again. Make random complaints. My friend saw their ugly faces and couldn't communicate at all, so he directly asked me to call the police. Finally, even when the police arrived, they couldn't communicate with this overbearing manager. Three policemen asked my opinion very reluctantly, I said I just want to get my money back, the police advised me, The service is so bad

I've had 6 laser sessions so far at this clinic, my experience has been fab!My laser therapist, Susanna, is brilliant! She is kind and welcoming, she is extremely knowledgeable and provides excellent advice. She makes me feel comfortable throughout the whole process.All staff are welcoming and friendly. The whole clinic setting and team is very professional.And I'm seeing very good results from my laser sessions! Happy all round :)

Every single time I go for my sessions, I have a great experience. I am always VERY nervous and the ladies are so supportive and calming. They make sure to use the highest air setting to soothe my skin which is so helpful. I’ve been to this clinic at least 10 times now for sessions all over my body and will continue! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for laser treatment.

I recently had a laser appointment with Susanna, and it was a great experience. She was not only highly skilled but also made me feel comfortable throughout the process - no pain at all. Susanna is an expert, and she took the time to explain each step and answer all my questions. I highly recommend Susanna for anyone looking for a professional and knowledgeable laser technician.
