We had a lovely evening in the cosy Bistro last night. The waiting staff were so attentive without being over the top, very professional. The seafood risotto was the tastiest I have ever eaten. We are looking forward to returning soon.

The atholl arms is the perfect cosy host for a dreich Scottish day! Myself and a group of friends went after being recommended the Sunday roast and it certainly did not dissapoint! When you enter the hotel your greeted with a cosy warm atmosphere, as it was December there was some gorgeous Christmas decorations put out as well! We sat and had a drink in the lounge first, where there was a very talented musician playing a guitar, every member of staff that greeted us was very welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful! We then moved through to the bistro which was just lovely! Again extremely welcoming environment, the place is dog friendly which is very lovely to see I saw one of the staff members take a dog a wee settle blanket and bowl of water - which was just lovely! The food! My word it was delish! To start the festive Brie was absolutely beautiful followed by the Sunday roast which did not dissapoint- the Yorkshire pudding were a highlight of the whole table- they were as big as our heads! Followed by desert- I opted for the stick toffee pudding a firm favourite and my word it was perfection in a bowl! Would I go back? Absolutely and let me tell you all I’ll be taking both my dogs next time! Thanks again for a wonderful afternoon!

I CANNOT recommend this hotel enough. I stayed for a night in October with my partner and our dog and I am hooked! A stunning family run hotel in Dunkeld, the staff are all so friendly, welcoming and attentive. The Sunday roast is out of this world amazing - it is by FAR the best I’ve ever had. Today I visited with friends and enjoyed the festive menu and let me tell you, that turkey dinner is beyond exceptional. Everything cooked perfectly, and tasted so incredible. Everyone should experience an Atholl Arms Hotel Sunday roast!

We stopped by whilst travelling to Inverness. We stopped only for dinner and it was nice. The starters and deserts are too expensive it put both me and my mate off paying the prices. If they priced them more realistic then you would probably have more starter and dessert orders.I had the steak pie and that was very nice. The beef was really tender and pastry nice and light. The service from the nice Hungarian lady was good. Thanks :)

Visited for 3 nights on a dinnerroom & breakfast package. Friendly warm welcome from the luvly Aniko at reception and shown to our room their junior suite (suite 5) with king-size bed. bathtub in room, shower, two large windows a bright and spacious suite, tea / coffee machine, dressing gowns, and slippers. Comfy bed, large tv screen. Toiletries in shower and at sinks. Plenty storage space, i.e., wardrobe and drawers, cleaned daily to a very high standard. We njoyed breakfasts in their Riverview Restaurant, bright and spacious with views over the bridge and their terrace. The usual juice, yoghurts, fruit and cereals, coffee machine, so all tastes catered for. Full breakfasts, omelettes, eggs benedict, avocado on sour bread ( i had it with poached egg and bacon) all our food was locally produced, and delicious, a luvly relaxed atmosphere to njoy your breakfast in, served by the luvly young waiter every morning. Due to the weather when we arrived, the area outside was suffering from flooding, Sadly we were unable to use their Terrace, (luckily no damage done to the area) but we did later manage a luvly walk by the River Tay, a walk to Birnam, and a visit to Pitlochry by bus. We dined in their Bistro (you have the option to dine in the restaurant) in the evenings, we njoyed, North Sea Haddock, and fries. Buttermilk fried chicken, Aberdeen Angus Steak burger, Perthshire Steak Pie, Handmade burger, & venison sausage and black pudding mash, all our food was delicious, well presented and plenty of it, I didnt manage Scottish cheese and biscuits afterwards. Served by the luvly Adam always cheery and chatty. We njoyed finishing our drinks in the lounge area, comfy sofas and seats, large fire, tastefully decorated by the very talented Edit (owners wife), and meeting some of the doggy visitors. We again had a wonderful break. Thanks to Zsolt (owner) and all his team, everyone contributed to our wonderful stay. See you all again next year :) :)

Popped into the bistro for a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff, clean and welcoming. Very good and fast service. Menu had a lot of choices with plenty of vegetarian and vegan meals. I had the venison burger that was really tasty. I even had a pudding, very indulgent. Prices ok. Definitely worth a visit.

Had my second visit to Atholl Arms Hotel today and it was just as enjoyable as the first. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and modern and the restaurant food is delicious. Staff are very attentive and friendly to both human and canine guests! The turkey on the festive menu was excellent

Beautiful spot for lunch, however we were not impressed by the quality of the food. To add to this the cost of what we had to pay was pretty expensive. The bar charged us £8, for a draft coke and a tap water with blackcurrant diluting juice. Thought this would be an ideal spot to bring friends/ family, however at these prices, it seems the place is trying to squeeze as much as it can out of customers.
