A tranquil beauty spot where one can be close to nature and enjoy the outdoors. A free car park for a few cars or bikes too, and a nice walk with some lovely views.

Bluebank Pools Nature Reserve (Chesterfield Canal) - Car Park
The Bluebank Pools car park is ideal as a starting point for a walk on the Chesterfield Canal. It's really easy to access (on Station Road) and parking is free, which is a huge bonus. It's lovely to park up here and then walk along the canal to Staveley Basin. The only downside is that the car park can fill up easily in the summer months or on a good day, and there aren't many alternative places to park to walk on the canal. The good news is that The Mill pub is next door to the car park, so you could call in there and use their car park if needs be.

Great little car park next to the Chesterfield canal and on cycle/walking trail. Free to park, which is great, although limited number of spaces means it can be full.

It's a free car park . So park up take that lovely walk along the canal right into Stavaley and back. Enjoy the effect the people have put into this nature reserve.Only becareful of the entrance of the car park there is a low hard to see curb when turning left into it . It's on the left hand sideYou can see tire marks where other cars have gone across it . They must have damaged their car under bodies .
