Food was very average. My bolognaise potato boats had no flavour and even my chips were very bland. Unfortunately none of us thought the food was anything other than average. On the plus point the portion sizes were large. Nice enough venue but very dark where we were sat, away from others which contributed to the lack of atmosphere.

Lovely pub, good selection of beers, super friendly staff, and the food is plentiful and a good price. Portions were very big. Ours was delicious.I had the Yorkshire pud wrapped beef. It had a vast amount of sliced beef in it.

A regular visitor to this wonderful pub.Dropped in on the off chance of a table & was seated straightaway.Had my all time favourite - mince & dumplings (cheese & red onion). Great food at a great price. Our waitress was so helpful & friendly - thank you!

I had the burger and chips. Actually a fun combination with chicken too. But the burgers felt a bit supermarket TBH, so a little disappointing overall. The place was popular, and the service was slow. It was hard to catch a waiter's eye. But they were accurate with the order and smiled. The Sunday roasts looked LARGE.

Really nice, friendly pub with great food that takes dogs. The menu was pretty extensive and covers both pizza/ pasta/ burgers and more unusual and interesting options. Lots of traditional desserts and I was impressed that even the custard was homemade.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, more than I could manage. Really enjoyed it. I had Pork but best of all there was some proper cracknel. Would definitely recommend this place.The staff is very good. Just go there.
