Bridgnorth Community Hospital

Went in after told to from 111 call with 4 big bites all over my body severely swollen and rock solid ( later found in another hospital were infected) and bad abdominal pain I was in agony. Spoke to the lady on reception who gave me a look of disgust as I was walking in probably because I’m a heavily tattooed women and so is my partner.The look of judgment was unreal. She told me she couldn’t help me and had to leave and travel to Wolverhampton hospital.I was told to go to bridgenorth as they “specialise in bites”. Yet turned away?!. No manners at all. If you have tattoos cover up because they will discriminate.

Attended with what turned out to be a fractured foot. Was seen very quickly and by a very helpful and sympathetic staff. Following X-ray and consultants assessment was referred for cast with appointment the following day at Telford with again very good treatment.

Was referred to them by 111 after being turned away at telford urgent care unit as it was too full. Was in and out in 10 minutes with no fuss. Lovely, friendly staff and free parking.

Took a friend to the MIU 26/9/22, with a nasty-looking ankle ulcer.We could not have been looked after better. Staff were so friendly, patient and very supportive. Waiting times were minimal on each of 3 visits we made within 8 days. Superb care was provided, with a smile. Such a refreshing change to other NHS settings I've used recently. And Free Parking too. Many Thanks indeed to Mark, Amy, Matt (& the other staff on duty) for their willing support and attention given.A superb service indeed, the folk of Bridgnorth are very lucky to have such a facility. Referred from 111, which incidentally was very professional, this unit was very well run. It took a little while to be reviewed, but not an unexpected delay when just dropping in. They were all friendly, efficient and productive.

It was like going back to the times when patients mattered and the N.H.S. was the envy of the world. What a wonderful team you have working there, including the lovely receptionist who had time for everyone and went that extra mile to be helpful.I was treated quickly and efficiently and was shown great respect. Well done to all the staff.

My son has, unfortunately, slit his eyebrow open and needed a few butterfly stitches. He was very anxious on arrival but after we spoke to the lovely nurses he was put at ease and asked if we could come here again when we need to. (hopefully not)We arrived at 8:45 pm and we were seen too and all patched up by 8:50 pm.Fantastic service. Highly recommend it if you, unfortunately, are needing a minor injury department.
