Pinhoe Community Centre - America Hall & Sunnylands Room

I dance here on Wednesday mornings from 10.30 to 12.30 with Dance this Way Exeter. The hall is good for modern ballroom and sequence dancing as has a well maintained smooth floor. Wendy and Tina are excellent teachers and we are a very friendly group.

The hall is a bit tall, long and narrow so the acoustics are not brilliant especially towards the back. The toilets have been recently updated but the hall interior is a little tired. The car park is good.

Friend hired it for evening very disappointing it came with no cutlery or crockery had to go and buy throwaway stuff.

Attended Force charity event which had some lovely stalls everyone very friendly The Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Concert band playing whilst I was there which was excellent x

Great community centre with various activities. Maranatha Church Exeter is great for those looking for a spirit filled Christian experience.

Don't let the appearance put you off. Everything inside is sturdy and generally reliable, save the toilets - they were out of action when we were there and there were temporary ones outside in the car park. The close proximity of an excellent playground is a welcome addition.

I was looking to book it to have a wedding reception there. Yes , the place is beautiful but when i arranged appointment to go and see the place with building caretaker. Not only he had no knowledge about it but he was also very rude and had a terrible attitude about it . He aid i would have 30 min to clean up the place, cant where heel shoes even on a small heel . Ive not had a men (caretaker) treat me the way he did. When i asked him off what could i use he replied you see it for yourself everything in here but cant for some reason use the speakers because it belongs to someone else. I was left very offended and the caretaker gave me no information.Wouldnt suggest to anyone

Went for an amateur radio rally, not a bad community hall needs a boost in visitors and income, but all in all very good for local activities.

We have use this for our worship services when we have special occasion. It has huge area and very solemn. And it has free parking.
