A few years ago my husband mentioned wanting to learn how to sail. We found this club near to us and he attended the family day. From that moment he was captivated by this experience. Since then he has visited with family members and always receives a warm, welcoming, friendly hospitality. Members are passionate and enthusiastic about this sport and happy to share knowledge. This incredible club is based on the fridges of Merthyr Tydfil.Being on the water is an exhilarating experience, hours pass in moments. After working all week, this activity is an incredible way to destress and the surroundings are jaw droopingly beautiful. Club members take time to get to know you and the people who come with you. Everyone is made to feel very welcome.He intends joining this club and hope you read this review and pop up for a visit.

Went to a free family taster session. Everyone from the club was very welcoming and friendly. Stunning location on Pontsticill reservoir, in the Brecon Beacons. My 13 year old got chance to sail the boat, and they very kindly took him out a second time, so he could have another go at sailing. Refreshments were available, very cheap. The instructors were very knowledgeable and keen to explain things. We had a wonderful afternoon here, thank you.

A fantastic clubs and team members; they do basic training as an introduction to sailing if you are interested. But overall very professional, relaxing atmosphere and great views.

Wow! Me and my 14 year old Billy were on a try sailing day today and had an amazing time. Martin met us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. All the people we met were very welcoming to be honest.Andrew took us out on the water and made Billy’s first time sailing so much fun. He was clearly an experienced sailor and put a lot of effort into sharing his knowledge with us. We’re definitely coming back, I haven’t sailed for nearly 40 years and I forgot how fab it is.THANKS SO MUCH GUYS AND GIRLS

What a beautiful place to sail, family friendly too. Refurbished clubhouse with hot showers!Friendly, with boats to use as a member and kids boats too.
