What a beautiful little course. Fantastic condition a credit to the green keepers. The only strange thing is getting to the first hole I wouldn't fancy that walk down a busy road in the rain. It would be perfect if we could cross the railway over a little bridge across the campsite. That would make it a hidden gem. I'm going again.

Had a spare afternoon. £12 for 18 holes, play the front 6 twice( only a 12 hole course) . 1st and 2nd are par 4s, though no need for driver as both under 300 yards. The greens were outstanding, as were the bunkers. Good value for money.....though will not be on my regular courses to play. To short, only 12 holes...but a snip at £12!

Great place, played here 3 times now. Staff very friendly. If you have time after your golf the food is brilliant too. Will definitely be coming back to see what the course is like in the summer months.

Wonderful course, not too expensive, decent quality, fair test.I played a competition here recently and really enjoyed it. Tight and demanding in places, with ample opportunity to hit big if you feel the need, much more fun if you leave the woods in the boot and just take Irons, Wedges and a putter, played strategicly, it is very rewarding.Small but loyal membership, who i'm told pitch in and help the greenkeepers as and when needed. the golf world needs more places like this, instead of upper class clubs that charge the earth and demand everything.Kudos to the club and members. really looking forward to playing again.

Probably one of the best looked-after golf courses around. The greens are first quality, and the course is challenging. They've got a great set-up to ensure no over-crowding as well. Altogether outstanding course.

Quite a place, on the one hand you have the massive cooling towers looking down on you and on the other you have a very well maintained and beautiful golf course, first time round here for me but fortunately I was with people who had played here before, so navigating my way round was ok.It's well worth a visit, I think I can safely say you'll not play many courses like this one, if you can keep yourself from looking at the enormous towers then you may have a decent round.

Lovely golf course, though a bit muddy in places due to the very wet weather over the last couple of days, I'll look forward to play it in the summer. Clubhouse and staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. It's definitely a hidden gem. Thank you Kev Harrison for the round.

Fantastic course. Lots going on with each hole. Plenty of hazards to avoid which makes playing a great experience. Granted their aren't any super long holes and only one par 5, but plenty of difficult par 4s which can be incredibly hard to make par. I guarantee if you can play well at drax, you can play well on most courses.

pleasant round great to see 3 + groundsman working on the course greens improved since last year we'll worth a visit to this quirky little course good scores can be made but there's holes which can ruin your card too
