Large range from new to used bodies and lenses as well as that a wide variety of bags for lenses and camera and gear not to mention the tripods they sell also, very friendly staff with knowledge on what they sell. Lots of Canon and Nikon and limited FujiFilm couldn’t manage to see any Sony equipment which is a shame and why they aren’t 5 stars

Purchased a used Sony A7IV from these guys recently at a good price. Camera arrived next day delivery and a quick test is showing its exactly as described. Very impressed with level of service.

Third trip to this shop,and I have to say that after all my years of photography I have never enjoyed my time as much as I have with the staff in this store. Friendly, understanding, very knowledgeable about all aspects of photography, gear,multi brands.Very fair with part x and trade in's.Thank you all for your help.See you again soon.

Recently picked up the Canon R6 after lengthy deliberation. In store team were really helpful helping me talk through my thought process about what I was looking for from a camera. answering a load of questions. :)

Ever since Park Cameras sold a camera to an online purchaser whilst I was looking at it in the shop I began using LCE in Southampton. The staff are helpful, polite and knowledgeable; without being pushy. An extensive and good stock is held. As a Canon user I have never come away disappointed. On the rare occasion where they have not had an item I wanted they have obtained it from another store within a couple of days. I have no hesitation in recommending LCE in Southampton.The above was written five years ago. Since then I have visited on numerous occasions. Sadly I have had to visit for repairs (my fault) but happily they have been done well. I have bought a variety of equipment. Yesterday I exchanged a Canon 5D MkIV for a Canon R6 MkII. Having discussed a possible purchase three days previously the camera was “held” for me to prevent disappointment and a wasted journey. The store may have changed slightly, a few members of staff have come and gone and cameras have continued to evolve since my first visit many years ago but the same high level of service, efficiency and polite and knowledgeable staff has remained. I may also add that, travelling from Wareham, the close proximity to Southampton Central Railway Station is a bonus.Although I occasionally shop online through ease I find that a visit here and the opportunity for a little discount from time to time makes this a great shop.

Absolutely fuming with this shop, 50 mile round trip to buy a lens and flash, their Google page said they were open just to get there and find they’re closed for stocktaking, sorry but a sign on the window is neither use nor ornament or acceptable. You’re selling technology for gods sake at least have your Google details up to date. To make matters worse you could see the staff pottering around inside and they blatantly saw me stood outside and not even an apologie.And these companies wonder why they go out of business to the likes of Amazon, who subsequently I’ve just ordered from instead, so from LCE incompetence and rubbish service they lost out on over £500 today from me alone and I’ve wasted fuel and time.I wouldn’t mind but I phoned them also on Friday and asked if they had the items in stock and said I’d be coming on Sunday.Avoid

As always great service and friendly staff. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate about photography and the products they sell. Always go into store for advise and usually come out with a purchase!

Recently needed a bit of kit in these challenging times and this store had several options listed online, I wanted some advice too and Matt was super helpful and very prompt in answering my emails. I'm pleased to say I'm very happy with my purchase, which arrived very quickly too. I've long been a fan of LCE generally, but always gone in store so this was my first experience of purchasing online - and I'm chuffed to say the customer service was top notch and I'd have no hesitation ordering from here again.
