I've had a terrible time with buying a car from these I first put up a review then I got bribed into removing it and not did there side of the deal ive been waiting on a call from there machenic that hasnt happend i am going to trading standards they sold me a car with a dodgy clutch oil Leak broken speakers a worn tyre a broken in car charging port they have been really un helpful and refused to do all of these they did however do the clutch after I took it for a second opinion it also came with no spacer wheel which I needed with the car I will not be recommending this place as a first time car buyer there cars a dodgy every review matters and my experience needs to be shared with the public

Did a trade in on my car for one here. Friendly bloke who runs the place. The car itself has been relatively trouble free other than a couple of small issues I fixed myself. I'll note that they did offer to take a look at the problem I had but I declined as the fuel cost to get there would outweigh the cost to fix such a small issue. Overall really happy with the car.Only thing lacking is the aftersales support.I do my own servicing so I need to know what service items have been done and when, so I can track intervals. The car had practically no service history other than 2 services done in the garages possession. I was told the invoices for the 2 services carried out in their ownership would be sent to me a week or 2 after the sale. It has now been 4 months since the sale was done and I've only been sent 1 invoice. All email correspondence has been ignored.

Completely open sale, just as I wanted. Relaxed environment to busy, none of the usual pishyness.Nothing was too much trouble.I would have no hesitation in recommending Hilltop garage to anyone thinking of purchasing their next car.

i purchased i nice car id been looking for having owned this type before , discounted took on the day with very liitle mot on it , was fine unfortunately having the car for less than a month the battery failed . checking the warranty , i noted battery wasnt covered . but thought i would just call to see if any help was possible . having met with a pretty negative response . telling me to sort it myself because of the distance i was away . .told to use free AA mebership . which actually doesnt cover home breakdown . so emergency too myself had to get it sorted at a price . then speaking to he said the proprieter , was not helpful i couid tell was not prepared to even contribute any goodwill costshad then reply from owner who basically was the same .i would say i think it was ROB who sold me the car and actually phoned me to check on the problem was very nice . and the chap on test drive was good . personally think owner etc need to be trained by sales chap , instead of blunt no can do fob off the owner couldnt even be bothered to reply to my last emailnot sure i could recommend Hilltop

Bought a car last year, within weeks issues started to occur, when I called garage about a radiator fault I was rudely told to just' keep it topped up'.Within 6 months further faults appeared and after loosing power and needing to roll backwards down a country lane I took the car to local specialist dealership.NEW ENGINE, TURBO and PUMP needed, engine totally gunked up with years of debris and oil.£7,500 repairs for a car I bought for roughly £8,500I emailed garage who immediately got legal backing and basically told me to take them to court if I wanted to try and get anything back.Further digging showed this garage is NOT REGISTERED with the Motoring Ombudsman, meaning no recourse that way, also not on Autotrader so cant review there, wonder why.Avoid this garage at all costs if you want a decent car that will last.

I found the ideal car for me at the right price at Hilltop Garage.In terms of honesty, professionalism, commitment to quality and dedication to ensuring that the car was right, right from the get go, Paul, Rhid and Rob, as well as the rest of the team, could not have done more; customer service was First Class, as is my new car.I travelled nearly 300 mile to view and pick up the car and would do it again to source a replacement second car, buy with confidence!

Thank you to Paul, purchased a great Mazda 6, any issues identified on the pre delivery check and new MOT were replaced, let me clarify these were normal consumable wear and tear items, not problems with the vehicle. Would highly recommend, and in fact will be contacting again to assist in upgrading another car in the household.

I bought car from here over 2 years ago for my partner. Other than general maintenance, the car has been absolutely faultless.This was the first time I bought from a garage, and I was really pleased with the service I received, the pricing, and the car.The team made me feel comfortable. They weren't pushy, and they even offered to take me to/from the train station.A really great experience overall and I would 100% come back here for a car in future. Highly recommend.

Buying any second-hand car brings its doubts- wherever you buy it from. However, we were treated with respect and courtesy throughout and completed the deal- sadly, our (2nd hand) car needed attention after a few weeks. It was attended to near straight away by a very friendly mechanic who dealt with other issues too!! THANK YOU
