Unbelievable what care and compassion this work place provide, finally found a place what is welcoming and kind aswell as amazing residents. The staff who work together provide exemplary levels of care and I simply cannot fault it. So much team work and that is not just care staff it’s every single member of Cromwell house who works there! Also management show dedication at Cromwell house due to the number of years they have been there and efforts they put in to caring towards staff and residents Which shows some care managers changes constant in other homes I hear so much good feedback from residents and how happy they are at Cromwell house lots of fun activity’s which they all enjoy!

My grandmother is a resident here and I visit most days. They are attentive to her needs and always have a smile for her and any visitors that come. The home is clean and tidy and have an array of activities for tenants to partake in. A lovely happy home, in the literal sense, not just in a home for the elderly sense.

Started work here as a relief carer in July 2021. Worked in two care homes previously. This home compared too them is by far best. Staff so friendly helpful...and fun. Yes we laugh! Residents so kind and thankful. Staff work together as a team. Managers help out and muck in when needed. Even covering night shifts and moving residents and belongings so us carers can carry on with our day too day work. Atmosphere is friendly. There are plenty of activities too keep residents amused and stimulated. We all laugh cry talk sing together. I feel like I've been here forever....I fact I wish I'd come too Cromwell when first considered working within care home sector.

My mother moved into Cromwell House in March 2019 after a difficult few years, the death of my father, and her own increasing dementia. She is shy by nature and does not mix easily, but the caring and gentle encouragement of all the staff has brought about gradual improvement, including chatting to other residents, helping with potting tomato plants and knitting - all of which she would have done in her younger years but none of which she's done for the last decade.Mum is well fed and cared for, there are many activities, the weekly Familio newsletter is a great asset, the home is well designed and maintained. During the pandemic they have worked especially hard to ensure the safety of staff and residents. I could not be happier with the care my mother is receiving.

I work at Cromwell house and have been in the care industry for 12years... this has to be the most caring place I have worked. We are all one big family and that includes the residents and staff. Care staff go above and beyond to make sure each residents care needs are met to their individual needs.

I started working at Cromwell House in 2008 as a first time carer. To say I was overwhelmed was an understatement however the staff and management helped me adjust to my new career. I worked my way up to a senior carer and even had the opportunity to spend a year as an assistant manager. I left in 2015 as I was relocating to Oxford. Life changes and I moved back to Norfolk and was looking at returning to Norwich. I knew that there was only one care home that I would be happy coming back to and that was Cromwell House. As chance would have it there was a vacancy. On my first day back it was like coming home. Some of the staff that I knew were still there which was great to see and the management team who I’d remained friends with greeted me like I’d never been away. The staff and resident at Cromwell House are like my second family. It’s such a lovely place to work. Friendly, caring and above all supportive of everyone. Anyone thinking of starting a career in care would do well here.

I have worked at cromwell house for almost 2 years , avaliable feeling deflates from previous care home jobs . But Cromwell house is so much different , it's a homely warm environment with Fantastic staffing teams that work together , the residents are all great and have brilliant sense of humour and there's activities that keep the residents occupied , and management are there to support and will happily come on to the floor to help out .I love my Job and look forward to being at work.
