So happy with my post lock-down glow up! First time at the new Blow City location and its stunning inside, great music, super friendly staff and very instagramable! I had Amy fixing my lockdown roots and she was incredible! Really took the time to listen to what i wanted with colour, cut and style and I couldn't be happier with the results. Feel brand new! See pictures for shocking before and after hahah! Thanks again Amy, will be back soon.

I have had the worst hair experience ever here. When I went to get my hair bleached and asked for a pink balayage - I was insulted, with two stylists saying that my ginger hair was too orange to work with. The stylist left bleach on my hair for an hour and 15 minutes. When handling my hair you’d think that as a hair stylist they would be careful of recently bleached hair but no this stylist ripped the brush through my hair with no conditioner or heat protection. My hair literally looked like silly string and covered the stylists brush. When I asked for to be careful she scoffed and said that this the normal way to brush hair. She then offered to trim my hair and I stupidly agreed. She hacked my fringe and even though I asked her specifically to not cut my face framing pieces she cut the fringe to twice as thick as it originally was. She was so rude as she continued to ignore my requests to be careful for my hair and I could see clouds of it breaking off. I then said I wanted to leave and she extremely roughly blow dried the rest of my hair. She charged me extra for olaplex even though they left it on for a maximum of 3 minutes. This damage is going to take months and more than £500 to fix. They claim to specialise in creative colours but use the basic crazy colours dye. The dye is so patchy as well!! Don’t go here.

Booked an appointment with a master stylist. The website stated their master stylists have up to 20 years’ experience so I trusted I’d get a quality cut.I had an event that evening so went to Blow to get a fresh haircut for it.I arrived for my appointment and the stylist told me they don’t cut short hair (I have a bob and wanted it slightly shorter at the back and a trim at the front).Nowhere on the site states that a cut and blow dry excludes shorter hair. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend Blow.

The salon and everyone that works there is truly welcoming and creates such a friendly environment. Claire works so professional and friendly. Claire explained every step of the way, before and during my appointment, she made me feel heard with what I would like to be done and also gave me many tips and tricks that I will be implementing into my hair care routine. Would definitely go back to BLOW and recommend to everyone. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

Best Hairdressers in Glasgow! Claire coloured and styled my hair, mending damage by previous hairdressers. She knew exactly what I wanted and gave me the most beautiful hair. Really fun atmosphere at the salon as well. Highly recommend!

Was supposed to have a blowdry appointment with Lucy, I showed up and the woman who did my blowdry was not her. Although she very sweet, she did not know what she was doing. I asked for more volume at my roots but it turned out very flat - she spent more time trying to adjust my ends over and over again. She seemed not to know what to do with my fringe. It was quite awkward. Eventually Siobhan came over to help and was super lovely and tried to fix it. She is the only reason I wasn’t in tears by the end of it. My hair turned out ok in the end but not worth the money that I paid. I am quite disappointed as I could have done a better job at home. I’m sure that most of the staff are amazing, but the woman that was initially doing my hair did not do a good job, and I ended up just putting my hair up in a bun after I left.
