Elderberry Home Brew

Loadsa good stock. Had everything I needed (demijohn bungs, extract IPA brew kit, spray malt, pressure barrel valve spares) but more importantly, the completely outstanding and extremely knowledgeable advice from the chap behind the counter. He solved a lot of brewing conundrums I had been wrestling with for some time.

Very useful shop and like the other reviews have said the staff and extremely helpful and will go out of their way to help/advise you.Even the swift replies via email were very helpful.Will visit again and would 100% definately recommend to others.

Lovely shop well stocked and the owner is knowledgeable. Prices are good and you can browse to your hearts content. Parking can be a pain in Whitley Bay if it is busy but we found a parking spot fairly easily just out of the busy time.Nice to see such a shop in 2022 to be honest.

Met the owner today, what a charming man.He has passion for the homebrewing life.Really knows his the art. Wide selection of supplies and equipment for home brewing all sorts.I'm not a very experienced home brewer but every time I've been here I've felt welcomed and been given sound advice when I've asked for it.Prices on their beer kits are competitive with what you'll find on the internet so head along here if you can and support a local business.

This place has changed the game for me. After spending a lot of time trawling through the internet for good prices on bits and pieces of brewery goodies, I walked into Elderberry for the first time recently and discovered I'd wasted so much time and effort. This place is like Willy Wonkers chocolate factory for brewing enthusiasts, they have everything! How the manage to fit it all in is a mystery and their prices are incredibly competitive. I cannot believe I hadn't visited sooner

well iv'e stocked up for a while so not been since john left. good little store warm and friendly if you need anything phone 4 days in advance so it comes on the next order.however those using air still and t500 remember it is illegalsomeone reported me a few days back for stilling the police came back today and took my t500 and made me pour all my spirits out. gutting to say the least but my honesty was the part that incriminated mehave a story ready if the police knock guys

I live in SW Wales and John is brilliant as my ONLY supplier of STILL SPIRITS for all my alcohol making /Voddy/Absinthe/Gin etc in Wales sometimes more often than not, does not have what we need or we have to wait a while for them to order it in. John sorts my order over the phone and I pay over the phone and it is sent out straight away either that day 1st class post that day ( if not too late) or next morning. Absolute star and will not hesitate to use him more regularly as he is really fair and honest and offers excellent discount for bigger orders. :-)He doesn't try to push an sales on you, has a the biggest selection around and his prices are cheaper than where I live! brilliant! they keep their pricing sensible = more trade..= common business sense!Thanks John. you know who I am..
