I have used Kennet cars for almost years for drop off and pick up from station. They are very prompt in timing as I was supposed to catch very early morning train. Mez is very friendly and flexible person through whom I referred lot of my friends for airport pick up. He is excellent and trust worthy

Awful service wouldnt ever recommend. Ordered a taxi over the phone on Monday 18th around 3.30, gave them the full address, postcode and destination and was told he would be 15mins, 45mins later I called them to see what was going on as I had a train to catch, and the man on the phone was rude, said he's on the way and hung up on me. Waited another 15mins until ordering another taxi from another company, who fulfilled there 15min quote. I wonder if a taxi from Kennett cars even turned up? Useless.KENNET CARS reply wasHi Mr JordanSorry about the experience you had with our service and we track your job from booking to dispatch and the driver was there in 15 and he could not get through first and then his phone battery died and it's was not a house job and driver turned up and you were there the driver was there but could not get to you by any means so sorry about it but could not help the situation and hope you will understand we are 10 years old business and over 20,000 customer sir.We are still happy to refund the money that you paid for the journey which will make it free for you.My reply to that is first of all, it was freezing cold and I was outside waiting for your taxi, so if it had of turned up, i would of got in it, i missed 3 trains because of this.2nd of all if your a business thats 10 years old and your letting customers down because your drivers can't remember to charge thier phones or take an in car charger, or you have no radios for communication to dispatch, what does that say about your company? Poor excuses.

Rude driver wanted us to pay a lot of extra charges" for a delayed flight

last weekend I had 2 trips booked. from the rewind festival to Reading. each trip cost me an extra £16 because you would not pick up from the festival, which was agreed at the time of booking. no one turned up on Saturday night and we eventually got to Reading 90 minutes late. Sunday was not much better.I have received no explanation as to why my booking was not on the system as I checked less than a week previously.

I've had two bad experiences with Kennet cars.Once they took 45 minutes to arrive instead of the estimated 15 minutes.The second time I had requested a collection from Gatwick Airport after receiving a quote but Kennet cars ignored all of my follow up emails looking for them to confirm and never showed up.Don't bother trusting this taxi company as you'll end up making alternative arrangements anyway.Edit: To clarify. This is a totally legitimate review and looking at other poor reviews, Kennet have a consistent history of not showing up to pre scheduled bookings. The aggressive response from Kennet cars should only further highlight the level of customer service that you can expect to receive from Kennet carsEdit2: As you can see in the response below, Kennet are behaving extremely unprofessionally and continue to make rude comments and accusations, rest assured I have been a legitimate customer of Kennet and should not feel compelled to leave my actual details as I do not want to deal with Kennet hassling me. Perhaps Kennet cars should take genuine feedback under consideration instead of alienating their local customers even further.

One of the reliable taxi company in Reading. I used them for the airport drop off and pick ups, always on time and the professional service. Cars are nice and clean.Definitely, recommend this taxi company.

I have used Kennet cars few times and I found them most friendly and efficient. I must say their service is really professional. There cars are very clean and drivers are really well mannered compare to other companies in Reading

This is a very peculiar taxi service, and many other reviews show the same pattern I experienced. What you need to understand is that they will only show up and take you onboard if they don't have something else to do or think about. Otherwise, they just don't show up (no warning whatsoever) and you can happily find an alternative service. I have been booking services for 15 years and never seen something like that. These guys are just in the wrong business.

I have used Kennet Cars many times, reliable and friendly drivers, very professional and friendly, always on time with my bookings. Cars are always clean every time I used them.Happy with this taxi firm, never had any issue.
