I received a phone call from a very pleasant Western Power employee informing me that my garden would have to be excavated as our next door neighbour had gone without power and there was a main connection to be done in my garden. We were away at the time. I arrived home on Tuesday to find no visible signs of the excavation & the guys had even replanted my plant. I cannot thank them enough for an excellent job

Power off for two days with cables down in a snow storm. WP worked through another snow storm to refix overhead lines and restore power. Over two weeks work yet to complete from storm damage - thanks guys and stay safe. Great service as ever.

Called WPD out due to what we thought was a detached external electric cable and the service we received from start to finish was exellent. Call center was prompt, professional and reassuring. The engineers were with us within an hour and were great, polite, professional and explained everything to us and then we received a follow up call to check we were happy and that we understood everything. Thank you WPD and thank you to your staff for braving the freezing, windy weather conditions to ensure we had power and were safe.

Power off for two days but your engineers worked tirelessly in atrocious weather to repair broken cables and restore supply.These people deserve a medal!

An electrician that did a job at my house said I had a fused neutral cable in my old property and to contact my local National Grid because this presented a safety issue and is no longer legal. 2 of the friendliest, chattiest engineers came out when they said they would, completed the job, left things as tidy as they could and took all their rubbish with them. I couldn't have been happier.
