It's very difficult to write a review on a small branch of such a well established chain. Every branch carries the same products and everyone probably knows before they step in the store exactly what they are going to buy.So what makes this store any different from the others? Well it is in a central location of my home town - a standard grimy northern town. When I visited there was a long queue and service was going well even though one of the two tills wasn't working. The staff were friendly and the shelves well stocked. That's it. It isn't different to any other branch! Now the big question is why do they sell Cheese and Onion Pasties cold these days? Such a disappointment I can't see myself going back.

Just popped in to grab a snack, got a toastie meal deal and the sound lad, Jacob, tells me I can get some wedgies and save a little money, instead of £4.90 or whatever I got some wedgies and it was only £4! Nice one! I thanked him and then witnessed his colleague, Jess, tell him in an awful manner than the deal isn’t given after 4 o clock. So at ONE MINUTE past four when I’m sure he’s been serving, doing his job, he is being genuinely helpful and kind to a person nay CUSTOMER in the store and she tells him off in front of me? I felt very displeased towards her and sorry for the lad, who I know has served me well in the past, speaking to him like that over 90p? Surely he’s worth more to Greggs than that, I hope she isn’t his superior and that whoever is has a word and explains there’s a time and a place for that kind of advice. And that it’s only advising, he didn’t take 90p out of her pocket, no need.Good service from Jacob.

Good choice of bakes, pizzas, sausage rolls, cakes, hot and cold drinks. Staff very polite and helpful. Food is delicious. Vegan sausage rolls and no steak bake available. I had a Vegan no steak bake which was delicious. This bake contained onions and was very savoury.

Arrived this morning and they were out of breakfast stuff. Explained it was for my son’s birthday and they made some more while I waited. Can’t ask for better than that for the price.

Visit here sometimes to quickly get something for lunch. Nice little place, always seems busy which speaks for itself. The food I buy from here is always delicious, and it doesn't cost that much either. The staff are always friendly too.

Always busy very rarely quiet but if there is a que the staff work there way through it quickly. I very rarely buy sandwiches or drinks but the sausage rolls are always warm and the cakes very nice.
