Possibly a late 17th century watermill that ultimately failed due to insufficient water supply caused by the Boars Head mill and it's weir further upstream....hence it's name 'folly'.Sold as 3 separate houses to the Boars Head mill owner as mill workers accommodation, in 1938 one was demolished due to poor sanitation. The are currently private house's with no public access to them. The bridge is the third one, originally a wooden gangway style bridge it was replaced by a steel and concrete one on 1948, this was closed in 2002 due to corrosion, the bridge now was constructed by Derby City Council shortly after.Nothing really to see as such, but the history is quite interesting.

Reasonable bridge. The expansion joint covers rattle as you ride over them.
