Almero Student, Ladybarn House

A lovely place to stay for a student. Only 15-20min bus ride to University, close shops makes it very convenient. Great staff are always ready to help. Overall I had a great experience here.

Ladybarn House is by far one of the most amazing student accommodations in its price range. Located in Fallowfield, the hub of all students in Manchester, it rightly boasts of modern, well equipped en-suite rooms and studio flats in different sizes. I lived at Ladybarn House when I came to manchester for my first masters in 2014-2015. And when I decided to do a second masters at the university of manchester, Ladybarn House was the obvious choice when looking for accommodation. Its a 10-15 minute bus ride away to the university and about 25 minutes in a direct bus to the town centre. Its located at a less than 2 minute walk from a Sainsbury's Superstore, that has everything you would want. Also has a Tesco express store right across the road and a range of take out restaurants for the late nights you spend studying. You have the choice to stay in your room, shut off from the outside world when you want to, and go out, meet people in the lounge when you feel like and at the various get togethers organised by the Ladybarn Team.

Excellent accommodation in the centre of Fallowfield, it is close to all the shops you need and some great takeaway places. The staff there are super friendly and helpful, any issues are resolved as fast as possible to ensure the best possible experience. The rooms are fantastic and the kitchen is well equipped, they also put on a variety of different socials and events which were always welcome.

Awful living condition with such a high price, charged me £500 for parking but there is no restrictions for the parking lot so everyone from outside can park there. Parcel can't be delivered during daytime because the office never answers the door.Chairs and tables are all old and uncomfortable. The heat only got little power that I have to buy my own heater in winter.Save your money and find a better student accommodation. My biggest regret last year was the choice of living here.

I stayed with my wife and daughter in ladybarn house C21 during my post grad studies from SEP 2005 to SEP 2006.Great experience. All facilities are near. Central location.

Came to Ladybarn from California, was offered student accomadation by uni but did not feel like sharing a bathroom with 5-10+ messy students. One of the best parts about Ladybarn is that every single room has an en-suite whether it’s a studio/1 bed or 4 bed. The rooms are decent sized with modern kitchen and bathroom appliances. The location is also superb, as there is a big sainsburys (grocery store) 2 minutes walk. The bus stop is also a 2 minute walk and 10-20 minute ride into uni and the town center, there’s also a few great pubs and a Starbucks within 2 minutes walk! The last piece that makes Ladybarn fantastic is the staff. The maintenance man, Neil, is a great character who will have anything broken sorted for you within 24 hours. The front desk manager will also help you in sorting anything right away. Both of them create a welcoming and safe environment, and will always be there for a a chat or help if you need it. They’ll also collect your parcels and try to have socials here and there. I think that’s important if you’re moving across the world on your own. Although Ladybarn may not have all the perks of other places the location, staff, and en-suites make it definitely worth the money for me!
