Easy service to book which I would recommend as they are popular and walk ins aren't always available.Doubles as a cafe and bar as well, so when you book online you can reserve a tipple of choice or a brew depending on your definition of when the sun drops below the yard arm. And it is also open pm for just those purposes as well.A good choice of services and the staff will have a banter. Frequently there are locals stop in just to say hello on the way past.Overall a good place for a haircut in a pleasant atmosphere. Updated to state that they now do pork pie to have with a pint!

After going to my previous hairdresser for 20 years; but after hearing rave reviews about McCarrolls, I decided to see for myself what the excitement was all about.I was not disappointed!! I was very pleased with my haircut. And will definitely be returning soon.Haircut by Jo.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from staff shoving a wheelie bin ONTO someone's car just to save the loading bay. Was made clear I was dropping kids to their disabled father who lives in the flats above to get the bin pushed into and then lent against my car. Would never recommend giving money or entertaining this disgusting businesses behaviour!! suggest they get cones in future to save bay parking. I was using it for unloading and not parking unlike the other 2 vehicles using it!! DO NOT RECOMMEND

Shoddy, amateur service and ran by the rudest man. Specifically asked if they cut children’s hair and was told yes wouldn’t be a problem and Mark would cut it. Get there for Mark to have no idea he’s cutting my child’s hair (probably because the aforementioned man has the communication skills of his scissors) and to say he doesn’t cut children’s hair. Thanks for making me drive twenty minutes for nothing. Will be sure to recommend anyone I speak to in the area avoids you like the plague.

Paul has been cutting my hair for over 15 years - always does a great job.The shop has a great ambiance and its obvious that Paul looks to set the business apart from the rest. Great free coffee and conversation flow on every visit.Keep up the great work!

Excellent, well appointed bar with all the trappings a savvy drinker could possibly want. The air conditioning was a massive bonus. But nothing could match the amazing energy of Jo. She deserves a pay rise for the exemplary service that she provided us tonight. I will be back!
