Angel Aquarium

An excellent shop with an extremely friendly, helpful and honest owner! We went to him looking to re-start an aquarium and he was very helpful, we haven’t decided on one yet but when we do one day we will for sure be purchasing from him only!

I love supporting local neighborhood stores, and I really like the feeling this little one has. The owner is very kind and helpful and tries his best to provide solutions for any issue I might have.It’s true sometimes there might not be a huge selection, although there are enough products to cover all basic necessities. I know as well Amazon has more competitive prices but it’s worth it visiting and helping independent stores.

Bettas are kept in horrible conditions. I bought one and the only reason I did so was because I knew he would die if not. I tried to hint that something was wrong and got told that all the fish were in very good health. He had fin rot, a bacterial infection, and was extremely skinny. He was so unwell that he couldn’t even swim properly. The water he came in was freezing cold despite bettas needing to be in water around 75F and had ammonia levels of 0.4ppm (for anyone reading this who is not very knowledgeable, ammonia should be 0ppm. It comes from waste products and is very very harmful to fish). My only regret in rescuing this betta is that it required me to give this shop my money. Not only this, but I was given unsolicited advice without the person having any knowledge of what size tank I have or knowing if there were any tank mates. It was like they assumed I knew nothing. They were very nice when interacting with me, don’t get me wrong! And so I’m hoping that this was just accidental misinformation and excitement regarding the advice, as opposed to willful negligence. But the bettas are being neglected nonetheless

They have amazing fish in there

I am one of the regular customers. I enquired on how I could despose of unwanted pest snails in non cruel way. I been advised to bleach them. I do not see myself doing that. The customer service is not up to the standard to be honest. There need to be more customer care and respect.

Great shop, friendly staff. Always helpful can advise on what you need. Great selection of cold water and tropical fish, accessories, food and fishing equipment too all under one roof. Happy to help you set up and very supportive even after you have purchased your items. Highly recommended! Thank you for being amazing!

Just went in for a quick browse by myself when there were no customers but two ladies at the receptions. When I exited I was promptly, and rudely, spoken with a snide tone of you're welcome!" followed by slamming the door shut.It was still early afternoon (store still open!) and the women was clearly more interested in chatting among themselves than be at least showing some manners to potential customers.Not sure what I deserved for the rudeness. Unlikely to top up my tank from this store now. Shame."

Very very bad, I order from the Mc Donald app, my drinks are split over the burgers and the burgers are so cold. I have called several time the Mc Donald local store on Holloway Road that I ordered and they didn’t answer, I have called the costumer service number and they didn’t answer as well.
