Excellent service and sales staff were very helpful and friendly. Got everything we needed for my daughters camping trip today with School for her Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. Will definitely be going back when need to again.

Great service, couldn't find what I needed in store but knew it was on their website so they ordered it for me in store and delivered it to my home (for no extra cost). It turned up today after ordering it yesterday afternoon - excellent service all round!

Visited the shop on the 28th looking for a gillet. First issue was no lift. Upstairs only accessible by climbing stairs. I have mobility issues so this was a major issue. I understand the building is listed but I am sure something could be done.Struggled upstairs. Initially thought it was worth it as they had what I wanted and it was in the sale (well according to the ticket on the rail!) Turned out it was not. So why was it on the sale rack? I like Mountain Warehouse and have bought a lot of clothes from them. I won't be using their York store again.

Brilliant service from Emma and Jess. I was in York for a few days and my old Nike shoes had given up the ghost! Emma helped guide me through a selection of walking shoes, which were great value. Jess also had fantastic product knowledge for the waterproofing solutions. Would happily recommend them both to family & friends, or anybody in need of a good quality pair of outdoor shoes for the summer!
