We were extremely happy with the work completed by Cube. We knew the team (having used them for a loft extension previously) and when our new property needed a full renovation we were really pleased to be able to work with them again. The pre-build process is very detailed and means that you know exactly what you are taking on with no hidden cost surprises.We have now had the pleasure to work with two of Cubes build teams and have been so impressed with them both. The quality of the work Slawek and his team produced on our renovation, in an incredible timeframe, was outstanding. The team was professional, tidy and efficient and having Sally on the team to liaise with and meet on site regularly was great. Thank you Cube. As you know we have recommended you to friends and will continue to do so!

Rear extension and general refurbishment of 1970s property. Contractor selected following tendering process by a design agency - not cheapest, but best value for money.Work was completed according to plan and to a very high standard, despite some difficulties caused by the coronavirus. Workmen clearly took great pride in the work, and went above and beyond the call of duty. Any misunderstandings, defects and other minor hiccups were quickly put right.My only criticism is that several additional items of work came to light after work had started, some of which in my view could reasonably have been foreseen, which increased the overall project cost by around 5%. Also, the contractual arrangements were initially concerning with a large deposit paid to Cube Lofts but the contract made direct with the builder, but no issues arose as a result.Good project well done, and as promised I effectively have a new house!

We contracted Cube to add a dormer loft extension and a downstairs open plan kitchen/diner/sung extension to a 1900's end terrace.Tristan supported our first contact with Cube to scope the project and formalise the quote; he had a number of good ideas to improve on the layout I'd already conceived and our final plans.Upon nomination, the contracted builders led by Michal worked hard to convert the plans into reality. Michal was very responsive and adaptable to requests for change as the build progressed.I apply very high standards in everything I do, from the work I deliver in my own engineering business consultancy to renovations at home. There were very few occasions where the build team failed to meet my expectations, such was the level of workmanship; in the few rare occasions that they did, issues were rectified immediately. Michal ensured that the final building work was to a very high standard such that I could complete the finishing, decorating and kitchen installation with ease.Sally project managed the build very well; however, such was the efficiency of the work led by Michal and the team, our weekly meetings were short and rarely without issue.In summary, the agreed price was inline with the other quotes we received and following the build completion, we are very happy with the work and believe we achieved good value. I would not hesitate to call on Cube and Michal and his team for another project, in the future.

CUBE assisted us with a two-storey-side and loft extension, all the way from the design to the final product and we could not have been happier. As a first time “builder” we benefited from their wealth of experience, were guided through the million of decisions, advised on timelines all throughout the project and kept up to speed with any developments of the built. Our builders were fantastic, not only did they do a fabulous job, they also finished the entire build in 7 months while we were still living in the house. They worked around us at all stages and displayed patience and problem solving thinking with any challenge that came up.We really could not have had a better experience and I have recommend Cube and our builders on several occasions already. We love the look of our extension, the clever ways that space was maximised and the overall finish. Our house in fact looks like it was never extended… which is more than we could hope for.

We recently used Cube Lofts to do a side extension to our house. It was an unusual design and Pawel and his team did an excellent job in understanding the design and creating an amazing space for us. It was a timber frame construction and we were particularly impressed with the quality of the timber work. Any snags were quickly addressed and sorted and Pawel was good at coming up with creative solutions when needed. The team were polite and respectful and kept the noise and disruption to a minimum. We had been concerned that the process of the work would spoil the garden but in fact the team were very careful not to disrupt or destroy any of the garden as they did it. We are delighted with the end result.

We love our rear extension that Cube have recently completed for us. Many thanks to Marius, Sally and Slawek!Slawek and his building team worked tirelessly and were always friendly, polite, tidy and worked to the highest standards. Sally, the project manager, was always available and made regular site visits.Inevitably, a couple of small unforeseen extras arose in the process that were not in the original scope of works that cost a bit extra and delayed things a little but it was more or less completed on price and on time. We had one small discrepancy/confusion over the architect drawings about halfway through the project. It was in no way Cube's fault, rather that we had misinterpreted the architect drawings for the roof design. Cube were very understanding and rectified it with absolutely no fuss and no extra costs for us.We look forward to using Cube again in the future and would highly recommend them - thank you!

Cube Lofts did an excellent job for us and we would highly recommend them if considering home redevelopment and/or extension in SW London / Surrey. We rate them 4.5 out of 5 with the only negative being lengthy delays in completing snagging works but otherwise the quality of delivery was top drawer.The project was delivered broadly on time despite Covid, with the original scope coming in on budget (unexpected costs the job progressed). We have subsequently recommended CUBE to two separate friends who appointed them and had similar positive experiences.Working with a small but professional business like Cube meant dealing with skilled and genuine people who care about quality and were aligned to the project's success, working with us through inevitable build issues, but offering solutions rather than simply problems.Below is a more detailed summary for those interested:Our project comprised a new dormer loft and outrigger, first floor & ground floor remodelling, with a rear wrap-around side extension. We tendered the work as two packages to multiple contractors. Cube were ultimately appointed to undertake design, build and project management services, our rationale being as follows:- Competitive on price for both packages / Proven local track record- Directly contract with build crew (rather than subcontracted)- Continuity from scope and design, through to mobilisation, build and exit.- Incentivised contract with c40 stage payments aligned to scope and payable once each completed. Further retainer upon PC for 3 months in case of defects.- Members of Federation of Master Builders- Insurance backed guarantee- Willing to demonstrate not over stretched in terms of live projects- Not a reincarnation of a previous business that have been in administration, unlike competitors.CUBE patiently worked through our design brief through to planning submissions. Tristan (sales & design lead) clearly articulated the scope of works and impact of certain decisions. We received regular updates throughout and secured planning with no conditions. Tristan then handed over to Sally (PM) and Piotr (Master Builder) with Mariusz (owner) providing oversight.Works started March 2020 before the first lockdown. CUBE were prepared and continued uninterrupted. Sally, Piotr and his team were superb during this period, with an exceptional work ethic (6 days a week and full days 8am-6pm), being polite and patient, courteous to neighbours and tidying up. They were highly proactive, regularly forward purchasing materials as supply shortages kicked in.Various unexpected costs materialised during the build including insufficient power supply, defective roof tiles, drains and joists. Sally/Piotr came up with credible cost effective solutions and were fair/ transparent with on costs breakdowns rather than generic bills with hidden margins.As we were expecting our first child in late October, it was essential we stuck to programme. Sally kept a firm hand of the project with weekly detailed progress briefings. Ultimately, we lost a few weeks due to material supply delays (kitchens, white goods etc) and although some subcontractors were unreliable, Piotr kept his team focused and came up with workarounds to recoup lost time without compromising on quality.Main works PC'd as our daughter arrived in early November. This left the snagging list and although CUBE left us in peace for a couple of weeks, the team moved onto different projects and it proved challenging to get them to return, taking several months to clear the list off. In hindsight had a full crew been made available for 2/3 days then most would have been resolved. Cube acknowledged the snagging works went on unnecessarily long.Overall, however, we would definitely use CUBE again and continue to refer them to others. A big thankyou to Mariusz, Sally & Tristan and likewise Piotr, Andrew, Josef and all the build team. We are delighted with our new home and should we decide to do another project we will be in touch!

We used Cube for a loft conversion and general remodel within our house. They were very efficient and professional from quoting, scoping and inception meetings, right the way until the end of the project and getting Building Control sign off. Michał and his team of builders were exceptional, with Sally overseeing and managing the scope. It went surprisingly smoothly for a project of this size and this was down to the excellent communication and management from Sally and Michał’s responsiveness to problem solving and his generally high standards of work and the pride he takes in it. We are very pleased with the result and would recommend.

My partner and I were considering a large project which included building an extension to the rear and front of the property with a new kitchen and bathroom, refurbishing the remaining rooms, putting in underfloor heating, building a loft conversion and all decoration.We spoke with a few builders but after our initial meeting with Roy from Cube Lofts, we were very impressed that he then provided a clearly itemised schedule showing exactly what building work would be carried out. It gave us some confidence that there would minimal or no surprises adding to the cost at a later stage. Once the work had started we saw very rapid progress as on some days we saw 6 – 8 builders on site depending on what was being done. The company just increased the workforce when additional hands were needed. The guys came every day throughout the work including some bank holidays and did not ever disappear to do other projects! Throughout the work (6 months) the guys were really pleasant, polite and were even happy to help us with other things like moving furniture and gardening materials.The end result is stunning! So many of our friends have asked ‘who did your building work?’ Even our architect visited and was really impressed.Quite apart from the high quality of the work, we were impressed with the overall professionalism of the company. The staged payments gave us security, we had regular meetings with their project managers to discuss progress and any issues. We had some delays due to our council’s planning procedures, but the work still finished on the estimated date, otherwise we feel it would have been ahead of schedule.Not only did the original quote remain fixed but they also saved us money by passing on significant trade discounts for various materials. Would we recommend or use this company again? Absolutely without hesitation.

This is the second time we've used Cube and they are brilliant. We're really pleased with the quality of workmanship and the final result. We had really good support planning the project, with some good design input. Throughout the actual build they were responsive to issues and challenges, with really clear and frequent dialogue meaning both the schedule and the budget were really well managed.
