Safestore Reading is spotlessly clean and run very efficiently. I felt very safe there at all times and felt confident that our stuff was also secure as it is a modem well maintained facility. I was 100% satisfied with the help I got finding an appropriate storage size and they were very flexible and understanding while we completed the moving process. Had to sort out a locker in a hurry so reached out to Safestore and my request was immediately jumped on with help and within 24hrs had the locker set up as needed. Day of moving stuff in Dan and Poppy on the front desk were accommodating and professional as well as being helpful above and beyond. Very impressed with the level of ease and customer service from this branch, would recommend.

From making an enquiry online, then follow-up call from the Dan at the Reading store.The whole process was well organised and easy, and on hiring a unit and being showed around the site is easily accessible. Very clean and tidy. Would highly recommend. Staff are great and very helpful.

I rented a storage space for 13 months. The space is well organised, clean and staff is helpful. I didn't have any problem and when I needed support, they were quick to respond.

Bit of a pain to get to by foot. Busy road, no crossing, fast cars.Reply: Yep everything fine inside. I imagine it's great for people who drive or need to drive for their work.You can't control the crossing system - but I also can't not feel anxious about getting run over when fast moving cars *might* come around the corner while I'm on a road probably kind of related to having my leg crushed when a doctor fell asleep and drove onto a pedestrian crossing. So I guess the choice for people who don't drive is put up with it - which I will do for a while - or find somewhere else.Pedestrians are going to be a small part of your client base, so I couldn't blame you for choosing not to cater for them, but not would I blame them for wanting to choose somewhere that they feel safe getting to.What would be great would be great would being able to get through the car rental or if the siding next to to the rentals fence was a bit wider such that it is possible to walk along it slightly further away from the cars. But again I imagine this is outside your control and should have been fixed during planning / construction but was not.

Safestore Reading are a great company and a great Team of people. We moved from Dubai, planning started back in March due to Covid, it’s been a big worry if our wishes would go to plan. Aggie (the manager) reassured us along every discussion and was true to her word be it quality of the units, discounts and offers being kept, and a seamlessly smooth delivery of those services. Having a company responsible for your whole life can be nerve racking, but today we finally moved into our new home, and bid farewell to Aggie and her wonderful team, thanks for everything you did a great job!! I fully recommend them - great company.

Nice and easy to get into and out of. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. Over head protection from the weather at the storage area so you can load and unload without getting WET.
