Fabulois place with authenic scottish food and produce. Menue offers every corner of Scottish traditional specialities with a modern twist. Some local sea food and a huggis variations that taste and look excellent. From drinks, food, desrts, ambient, decour and music, you can experince Scotland will all senses. Prime location in merchant city. We went for a bussiness meal for six and each course was fabulous. Joy to the eye and taste buds. Portions are generous and prices competative with local area with mains between £15 -£20 worth every penny. There is a fine dining, secluded area available downstairs for more official parties. Top floor is more casual with tartan morives and greenery of highlands. Toilets are clean and specious. Service was very quick and waiting team was very friendly and attentive. Supervisor Ellie helped us accomodate to our group's needs and made us very welcome. Must come place if visiting Scotland or for tasting good Scottish food.

The food was very good and the staff were pleasant. We had the Steak Pie and Haggis Lasagna, and opted for 2 courses. I had Haddock Potato soup (in the US we would call it a chowder). My husband opted for his second course to be dessert and had the cheesecake. We love sharing food so we get a variety. We were very pleased with the portions and the flavors of all the food. The waitstaff seemed a little under staffed but handled it with grace. We appreciate their professionalism.

Mharsanta - Scottish Restaurant & Bar
First day in Scotland and wanted to get some delicious fish and chips, Mharsanta did not disappoint! Quality of the food was excellent and was exactly what I wanted. Followed that up with some apple pie for a perfect overall meal. Service and atmosphere was also great and would definitely go back next time I’m in Glasgow.

Haggis is now on the list of foods I love. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. The food is top-notch, scotish done right. My family all enjoyed their meals immensely.

The food was ok, but not great (had better food for a smaller price). Staff was nice, the atmosphere was good mostly made by the scotiah music that was playing in the background. There was no soap in the toilets.

Mahrsanta - 2/5 stars. The food was a disappointment, with a soft and mushy fish and chips. The haggis burger was also underwhelming, as the patty was just regular beef with haggis spread over. Service was adequate but not overly friendly, except for a male waiter with dark hair who stood out. Overall, not a great dining experience.

Edit: For Mharsanta Management: We came in on 10th of November, 2022 at approximately 8:30pm.Good food, but the service needs work.We went here for dinner, but were turned away because we didn't have a booking and they said they were full that night. I found this pretty confusing because they did not look particularly busy and there were several tables open.So we left, went on their website, found an open booking 15 minutes away, and came back 15 minutes later, and got seated.So what was that all about? They weren't full, they had bookings available, but wouldn't let us in unless we took one? That makes no sense, unless they were trying to avoid serving more people by lying to walk-ins.Regardless, we were seated, and the server was pretty cold and rushed, which again, did not make sense, because the restaurant was not that busy. In fact, during the entire time we were there, several tables emptied out, and the whole restaurant was half-empty. So why did they say they were fully booked!?The food itself was pretty good. But the entire experience was soured but that strange and frustrating experience of trying to get in.I would not recommend going here until they sort out their booking and capacity issues.

Very nice moment ! The food is really good and tasty and the staff was really friendly !A bit noisy though but the place is huge so I guess it's normal !
