Very knowledgeable staff able to answer all my questions on boots, tents and bags. I wanted a pair of walking shoes. They were out of stock both in the stores and the warehouse but they took my details for the next delivery. Even measured my feet to check shoe size.

Fantastic place for climbing equipment. Everyone there seems very knowledgeable but special mention to Phil who was especially brilliant. He spent well over an hour with us helping to find the best option for harness and climbing shoes and other equipment for our daughters and often that advice meant the final option we chose wasn’t the more expensive item but it was the right choice.Would definitely recommend this as the first choice place to go for anything to do with climbing. And the discount for Quay members is a nice bonus.

Absolutely lovely experience with Amy yesterday. Walked in just looking and ended up with a brilliant pair of boots, trainers (which she kindly ordered for me online), boot care kit, sock and a brilliant climbing harness. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Amy!

we are slowly kitting up to walk the south west coast path, we live in Cornwall but happily drive the hour each time. Tents, sleeping bags, boots, rucksacks, coats, over trousers, over our 5 trips so far we have tested their knowledge, their patience ( me trying boots on) .it’s lovely to be able to shop somewhere where you have learnt to trust the team. we will be back.

Always have blisters…all my life due to a boney heel. Walked in here. Found out I needed to size up, I was shown a walking boot, not particularly expensive. Walked 6 miles the next day and nothing. No pain. Going in and taking advice has saved my skin, blood and money. I will walk a whole lot more now. I am so happy. The internet is great but for this sort of thing being able to have their experience was invaluable.

Well stocked outdoor clothing and kit shop, with a good selection of top brand equipment. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Competitive prices.A few minutes walk from the actual city centre in Exeter, but that should be no challenge for most of its customers!

I wanted to get my feet measured as my boots had started rubbing.Evie measured my feet and asked about what I wanted and then brought out a good choice of boots.He commented on the fit and suggested changes.I walked around and tried them on the slope.Great experience
