My elderly neighbour Roy stayed at Richmond Wood Care home & he really enjoyed his time there. The staff are so Friendly & go above and beyond to make their residents feel comfortable.

Richmondwood is one of the best homes in Bournemouth, a home is not about best furniture, mod cons etc (although the furniture is just fine). It's about the care and well being of the residents. I'm pleased to say Richmondwood ticks both these boxes. A very good friend of the famiiy spent her last years here, she was very well looked after and extremely happy. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Excellent family run care home with amazing helpful staff. Due to looking after all my grandparents over the years. I have used Richmondwood whenever required for full time residency and also day care to give the grandparents a break and to see their friends there. The activities are great (I mean they went sailing the other day!) always something going on. The food is also very good or so I’m told hehe.The management team George and Pilli are ever so helpful and will always try to help where and whenever possible to make it as easy and painless for everyoneinvolved. I’m so lucky to have found Richmondwood years ago and would highly recommend to anyone after elderly care.Keep up the good work team and thanks for everything you have and continue to do for us. It’s very much appreciated.

Our mum has been living at Richmond Wood for a year now. We've been impressed by the dedication of the staff and care they've given her. It was such a difficult decision to make, a move to a care home but one which we have no regrets about as Richmond Wood has been so good Mum is so much happier and so well looked after. When I asked her what she would like to say herself she said: it's nice here

What an incredible place it is! My mum has been at Richmondwood for over 4 years now. Since George took over as the manager it has gone from strength to strength. Pilli is amazing too and George is incredibly personable and approachable. She always involves the relatives as much as possible in the daily life of the home and the care for the residents. It's that personal touch that really makes that difference in assuring relatives that their elderly family memners are very well cared for. Whitney is wonderful too in that she really plans the social programme with the residents in mind and really tailoring it to their interests. Can we have Kelloggs back please?? Richmondwood is a real home from home that cares for the residents as their family. After my father couldn't cope living on his own any more, we chose this small care home for him, and he loves living there. The friendly staff are professional in their work, dedicated, and have endless patience. The food is all freshly made, and on birthdays there is always a special cake made for them! Highly recommended.

A lovely family run care home. My Nan has been a permanent resident at Richmondwood for 14 months and is so happy and settled here. All of the staff are extremely caring and helpful. Special thanks to George the care home manager, Sara the deputy and the seniors Chloe & Kasia who are always approachable and on hand to help with any queries the family may have.The home is spotlessly clean and is very welcoming, the residents have a beautifully kept garden to enjoy in the warmer weather. I would highly recommend this care home.
