Drove out the pub as it looked like they did good food, unfortunately despite the pub being relatively quite builders vans were taking up much of the carpark, no dogs allowed despite it saying they were on Google, disappointed as we drove 20mins to get there and whilst we would have happily sat in the beer garden, it started to rain. The Owner appears to be a. little miffed at my comments, but they are factual and designed to ensure potential customers have information to make a decision on whether it's worth travelling out to a remote pub/restaurant.If you're walking or don't need to park and don't have a dog, then I'm sure the owner would ensure you have a good experience.

Excellent service, excellent food. 9 of us all went for a meal all dishes were top quality and generous portions. All served to the table at the same time. The gentleman behind the bar was excellent a credit to your team with a great sense of humour and very welcoming, also credit to the kitchen for the top rated food. Would highly recommend.

Amazing food from a small village pub. Clearly popular as most tables were taken. I’d advise booking. The mixed grill which was on the special board was cooked to perfection.

Lovely place, with delightful staff.I came here Saturday night with friends and the staff couldn't do enough for us.We must have been the largest group, (about 12), and definitely the noisiest, in the little pub but they were still lovely.The food was delicious and large portions.The drinks were decent price too.

We pre booked while staying in the area and the guest book where we were staying,highly recommended it. I am so glad we went ,we were a party of 6 including our 2 year old grandson We had a sharing platter to start which was lovely and we all enjoyed our mains ,including the pie,steak and burgers. It was all delicious, my only regret is being too full to eat a pudding!Next time!!

Typical pub fare well presented and tasty. Really good real ale. Friendly staff who were particularly kind to or two small grand children.

Jess does a class haze and black and Nige is a proper Gent, Beth Is fast in the food service, Matt sells Good crisps, Chloes Lovely, Tyler's A top g, Brad's a Nice ginger. Meghan will make any drink you ask. If I've forgotten anyone I'm sorry, Haven't met you yet
