Shepherds' Vet Centre

Just wanted to give credit where credit is due to vet, David. I have taken 3 different pets on seperate occasions to Shepherd's and every time we have been lucky enough to see David. He is caring, friendly and helpful. This makes the visit less stressful and more welcoming.Well done David, keep up the excellent service!

We are cruising on our narrow boat in the Kidderminster area, Although not registered with this vet, they offered me an appointment to see our dog and exceeded any expectations. They were really helpful.

NOW JUST A MONEY MAKING MACHINE !!!!!Ive been a user of Shepards vets for over 10 years and they used to be about the animals.Something has changed over the last couple of years. They are now just about the money. Prices have doubled in a year. Service now feels rushed and uncaring.Even the reception staff are verging on rude saying If you dont like the price you know what you can do".DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS/FAMILY TO SHEPHERDS VETS IF YOU LOVE THEM. There is the distinct possibility you will be overcharged or charged an extortionate rate for anything they do for you

Wonderful vets! Very professional, handling with my nervous collies! Staff are wonderful very loving towards all my animals! Would definitely recommend shepherds!

Well want can I say about this wonderful vets!They have been amazing with pur extremely anxious dog seen we moved from another vets in the area a few years ago and yesterday when it was time for her annual booster and check up they went above and beyond. Helping to keep her very calm by prescribing a small sedative. They managed to give her a full check over and injection without no bother or panic from her. Wonderful vets. Not impressed with the quality of care from this veterinary practice. My daughter brought her pet rabbit here with head tilt. He had been seen by another vet who had been treating him for it, but we needed a vet that was closer to home after recently moving house, so tried Shepherd Vets. The vet just said that we should have Fin put to sleep, and when we refused, they spoke to us as if we were the uncaring ones. They are supposed to be a specialist rabbit vets, but we would never go again under any circumstances. And with help from a tilt head bunny group, Fin is still around living a normal life over 2 years later. He still has a wonky head, but he has a happy and fulfilled life with his other 2 rabbit companions.

Fab team of vets and nurses! Always provide brilliant care to all our pets. The ladies on reception are great too!

Called up out of hours on Sunday for my rabbit who wasn’t eating or drinking. Spoke to the lady on the phone who couldn’t care less, very rude and told me that I couldn’t be seen “because I wasn’t registered” sorry but you’re open up as a 24 hour emergency vets… the lady on the phone told me to go to my own vets which I said well they aren’t open. Her response was “well we can’t see him”. Absolutely disgusting I wouldn’t recommend!!

Our pets have been clients of the practice for many years now but unfortunately we will not be returning. We've always brought our small rodents here for everything from major illnesses to nail clips - we own one guinea pig who has very difficult claws to cut, as they tend to curl inwards regardless of length and are very dark so I'm always very worried about cutting the quick by mistake and causing bleeding. Because of this we had been taking her to Shepherds off and on for many years for her nail clips but recently we've felt increasingly unwelcome when doing so. As if something so small and low fee isn't worth their time. This culminated in what I can only describe as a lecture from one of their nurses that basically read as don't come to us for this anymore. Felt very sad and unwelcome. Won't be coming back for anything further.
