Honestly, not impressed with this shop. It does not sell much in the way of local gifts (although in fairness it does sell some), which is disappointing. This aside, what it does sell is largely generic rather than anything particularly unique to Newcastle or the NE. A lot of the stock feels like it has barely changed in 2+ years which makes repeat visits pointless.Edit Jan 2022: unimpressed with this Christmas card (a time of goodwill, etc) being sold in this shop. Left a bit of a sour taste in the mouth when you consider the difficulties some local families are having right now. Glad to see some locally made cards, but don't think this is funny.

The shop is an amazing local gift shop and It is ran by a canny guy.I have read that some reviews are overly negative, but ignore them it’s and amazing place.

No idea where David H was looking as I saw an entire wall of local prints and modern artwork pieces. I always enjoy mooching around this shop. Great for a present for the person who has everything and also a treat for yourself. A little gem on an increasingly boring High Street

I always try to use Yum Lush as my first choice. My family always appreciate cards and gifts from here. It was a real miss during lockdowns.

I absolutely love this little shop. It's my go to for cards (an amazing array of truly inappropriate cards!) and a fantastic range of gifts. A proper independent shop where you can find local, unusual and quirky gifts. I may have also bought myself the odd piece of jewellery too...
