I recently registered at the dentist as private patient. I have been to the hygenist today, dreadding it, as I am not good with treatments. The hygenist and dental assistant were fantastic! Explained everything really well, was gentle and felt at ease for the first time ever!If you are nervous of dental treatments, I would recommend this pratice!

Excellent service..same day emergency appointment for my 93year old aunt who suffers from alzheimers disease. They were so.lovely with her..fully professional.but fully caring. I am so impressed with the service offered. We live in York where NHS dentistry services are unobtainable. Thankyou for your care.

Okay as dentists go, but I wouldn't waste your time. After having paid for all my treatment and needing to rearrange my next appointment, they basically told me where to go, and to look for a new dentist while I was there. The receptionist was very helpful, however I couldn't help but notice the distinct lack of caring from the dentist herself.

Had wisdom teeth removed by Mr Harker around 10 years ago - just over 2 years ago I was told (by another dentist at the practice) they were not fully extracted and one was going rotten, and I would need to be refferred to a specialist dentist to have it removed, which it was. As you can imagine after 8 years it was a very difficult and unpleasant extraction.Called this week to make an appointment and was quite abruptly told I had been removed from the register, as it was just over 2 years since I had last recieved treatment. I did say the reason why I had not been made another appointment was I had to be refferred elsewhere following a botched extraction by Mr Harker, but was abruptly told it was my responsibility to re-book, and the surgery 'wasn't required' to notify me when they removed me from their register (after 32 years), despite knowing this left me without a dentist at a very difficult time.This seems incredibly nasty when the real reason for this is to take on more profitable private patients.Poor dentistry, abrupt and uncaring staff, and frankly an overall nasty attitude. You're supposed to be healthcare professionals, at least pretend to put your patients best interests before your profits.I do understand that mistakes happen in medicine, but I have to say I feel like I had paid a high enough price for your poor extraction before your staff booted me off your register too Mr Harker.

I am a new patient and Mrs Harker provided an excellent and thorough treatment. I was very grateful for the friendliness of the staff and for once look forward to going to my dentist!

Basic dentistry. If you have specific needs ie root canal treatments they just refer you.No level of aftercare at all. In chronic pain for a week whilst waiting for root canal referral.

Very professional service done with a smile. Have always felt at ease when had to have treatment. On the occasion when I have needed to be seen quickly the receptionists have been very helpful. Have no reservation at all in giving the highest rating.
