Foxhills Country Club – Golf Club & Resort

Booked afternoon tea for my daughter birthdaySandwiches were very cold like they had been previously frozen and bread felt stale, fillings were quite tasteless, scones were more like a bread dough.No recognition it was a birthday which I had stated when booked.Overall was very disappointing and will not be coming back nor would I recommend FoxhillsOn the upside it was a lovely setting and dining area

My wife and I spent our 18th wedding anniversary there and we couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Christopher went above and beyond to make our stay special and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The main restaurant is also outstanding and our evening meal was delicious (I would especially recommend the pigeon and mackerel starters!) We will definitely be returning to stay again.

I recently stayed with my husband and daughter and we had a fabulous time. We were greeted at reception by Anne and Luis who were fantastic. The facilities were amazing and lots for children to do. Great choice of pools, good food and lovely grounds. We will definitely be back!

Decided to treat myself to a facial and unfortunately had an allergic reaction due to the amount of product. Wasn’t the fault of the person doing the facial, but some supervisor came into the room to check and basically told me I was lying and my skin seemed fine. The person doing my facial explained that my skin was actually extremely hot and it only cooled because she came in 5 min later. The person that did my facial was great, but how rude to come into someone having an allergic reaction and tell them they are lying, I wasn’t even asking for a refund, and after the experience didn’t ask for it either. So not sure why you have to be rude to me. Waste of money and wouldn’t recommend the spa.

Dinner was amazing, filling and what a way to spend the last part of the year for a lovely treat.The waiters were very polite and helpful.Food was amazing, been there three times for afternoon tea, the sixteen restaurants side and now for dinner.Will definitely be coming back there again next yearThank you for all the excellent hospitality and thank you to the chefs who made my belly full to the brim

I adore Foxhills!We had our first visit here, as soon as we entered, Luis was there to greet us, the reception staff couldn't of been friendlier.We were asked if we were celebrating and we mentioned it was our first anniversary. 5 minutes after checking in to our beautiful spacious poolside room, we were given wine and a celebration plate - 5 minutes after that we had a call to make sure everything was to our liking.I can't believe Foxhills is only rated as a 4 star hotel. We have stayed in various 5 star hotels and we have never received such tremendous service!We will be back! We are even considering a membership.Thank you Foxhills, see you soon!

Ideal for golf lovers, this serene spot is conveniently located just 15 minutes by train from London Waterloo station, ensuring a convenient and easily accessible getaway.

I recently stayed at Foxhills with my partner for our anniversary. The hotel staff were able to accommodate us last night and the service was brilliant. I particularly appreciated the friendly doorman in the manor house. The food in the manor house was exceptional. Brilliant breakfast options and the dinner felt truly special. The spa is great and the golfing facilities are a standout.

I took my 14 year old daughter and her friend for afternoon tea this week for her birthday surprise.Beautiful setting and a lovely greeting by an employee who wished my daughter a happy birthday and showed us through to the room where we would be eating.From here on it went downhill.No lights were on initially so the room was dull.The food arrived and it was so cold that it was unpleasant to eat the slightly stale hard sandwiches. There was no check back at all, once food and drinks were delivered. Not one person on service was present in the room at any point unless delivering food.3 times I had to leave the table to search for someone as not one person was present in the room. Had someone been checking in on us they’d have known we needed table water, that id have liked a top up on the hot water for my tea at some point, and that they’d delivered the wrong sandwiches to one of the girls as she’d wanted all salmon as opposed to the regular selection. I even had to search a 4th time to ask for the bill. Very disappointing service for somewhere so grand and with a good reputation. It has certainly put me off recommending or revisiting as I believe service is what makes the experience special. Working in hospitality I deliver and therefore have high expectations and this didn’t reach anywhere near the standards I’d expect from such a beautiful place.£100 very reluctantly spent.Will not be returning or recommending unless you can guarantee me the service I’m charged for.Such a shame for such a lovely place to be let down by lack of good training and basic knowledge of giving the customer a special experience.Nothing special About here or the experience at all other than the views.
