Dunnings came highly recommended, i sent my vehicle 40 miles on a low loader for their transmission expertise, I haven't been disappointed. They are experts in their field and i have avoided any main dealer activity which was my only previous option. Great Communications, Sensible Money I highly recommend.

After my Subaru gearbox died on me, I asked around various places & Dunning's Subaru knowledge made them an obvious choice for my car, Rebuilt my gearbox & after repairing NLA parts, & waiting while I shipped new parts internationally, I got my SVX back and Very Very Happy! Absolutely shocking!Rude mechanic, Simon, told me their weren’t taking jobs in till January were the day before I had spoken to him and he said they were busy, he’d be able to look at it next week.Overpriced quote for works, £380 + VAT.Got a quote for £269 inc VAT from someone else.Went to pick up the car this morning and they tried to bill me for £36 labour.You go to a garage for piece of mind and not to hear someone being rude, bordering on aggressive.Take your business somewhere else!

Great service and really helpful staff. . Car runs like new with the replacement gear box. Also helped out straight away when the battery failed . Would recommend this business every time.

Sincere thanks to Simon Dunning and his team for the exceptional service in getting my car back on the road so quickly within a couple of days after the sudden failure of my DSG automatic gearbox, necessitating fitting replacement parts within the gearbox itself and a new double clutch. Courteous, knowledgable and helpful throughout.

WOW what can I say other a massive enormous huge mega thank you to Simon and his team for going above and beyond to diagnose and fix my DSG clutch fault. Not only did they fix it they fixed it so I could get my car back to go on holiday in it. They also put me in touch with an excellent recovery specialist to get my car to their garage at a very reasonable price.Simon and Co kept me informed every step of the way and mended my car in super quick time when everyone else I rang around so there was no way it could be done in time. I can't tell you how pleased I am with their service and their customer care. Absolutely outstanding!!! Although this garage is a good hour away from home for me they will be seeing my car for all my servicing of the DSG gearbox from now on. I won't be going anywhere else. They have made a Dunnings customer out of me. THANK YOU team Dunning.
