Absolutely fantastic, service was brilliant and food was amazing. Could not fault it. Definitely have to book and well in advance as it's a very popular place. We had the best weather so sat in conservatory and watched the sunset. 5 star experience from the moment I rang to book our table to the moment we left after a fabulous night. We will be back next year.

The Politician Pub is a renowned establishment on the island of Eriskay in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. It gained notoriety in 1941 when a ship named the SS Politician ran aground nearby, carrying a cargo of whisky. This incident inspired the book and movie Whisky Galore!" The pub commemorates this event and is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.I was told by a local that if you go in the pub for lunch

Such a lovely place to come - we had to come back again, as so many things in the menu that we all wanted to eat.

Had the most amazing tasting scallops here - the chef knows how to cook them perfectly too.A fab place to eat, staff were so friendly and helpful, small menu but good choices. The conservatory overlooks the coast and you get the most wonderful view of the setting sun.Nice bar area too if you just fancy a beer and good sized car park.

The best fish and chips i have had for a long time! So much so I went back again to have it again!Great conversation ref the whisky. Whiskey Galore.Lovely glimpse of beach from beer garden.Park here and then go a bit further along the same road to get to the beach where Bonnie Prince Charlie is said to have landed. In 1745.
