Ewan Bramley Dental Care

I was left with damaged, chipped teeth after paying for straightening treatments. After my braces were removed my teeth were great but I was advised they needed to be shaped to achieve a better final result. The dentist used a file to shape my teeth then finished with a composite bonding material. My teeth were shortened to the point of looking too small for my mouth and the bonding material repeatedly chipped and crumbled. I returned on two occasions to have the bonding material replaced and when it chipped a third time, I was advised the only resolution would be for me to pay more money and have a vaneer fitted. I am now left with two chipped front teeth due to the incompetence from this dental practice. My teeth actually looked better before I spent a fortune here.

Great service. I saw Pippa for a hygiene appointment and she was excellent. I have sensitive teeth and some ceramic crowns and she was very thorough but careful when cleaning. I'm really pleased with the results and she was really cheery to talk with during the appointment. Definately would recommend.

I have just had nearly 2 hours of root canal treatment, and weirdly, it was quite a pleasant experience - once I settled and got over my initial nerves!I even fell asleep on a few occasions, so must have been good.I have been using Ewan Bramley's surgery for many years now, having moved from the 'NHS' who provided a terrible service. What I get from EB is brilliant, they took the fear out of the dentist and give me loads of great treatment and advice. Just wish we had this 30 years ago!

Elaine is an amazing hygienist. I have super sensitive teeth and she knew all the right ways to be able to clean my teeth without the need for anaesthetic. Elaine made me feel at ease straight away. I can’t recommend this dentist enough

Thoroughly recommend airflow with Pippa. Not only is she a lovely lady, she is also so great at what she does. I've got extremely sensitive teeth and Pippa was gentle, but thorough and had my teeth clean and shiny again in no time. Very happy and would highly recommend.

As a terrified patient when at a dentist's I have to say that Jarlath has really supported me to devise a plan, be patient and kind taking treatments at my pace. Because of his understanding and support I have managed to have a treatment without being put to sleep which is marvelous for me! Good music in the background also helped!I am happy to say I have found my forever dentist! Thank you Jarlath & the lovely assistant today! Sorry I have forgotten the assistants name but she was bubbly and kind. I highly recommend Ewan Bramley Dental Care and Jarlash for nervous patients.

l had a very difficult root canal needed on a molar that had decayed and being very nervous made an appointment at Ewan Bramley Dental Care. From the first contact with reception to having treatment with Katie has been fantastic, Katie explained the whole process and any questions answered, she was kind gentle and reassuring as well as a really good job !

I was recommended by a friend to go to Ewan Bramley as she had extensive work done by them and her teeth looked fantastic. I decided to go for a consultation as I wanted to brighten up my smile as a treat after being made redundant. I have to say your hygienist’s are the best I have ever had and cannot recommend them enough. They are professional, Friendly and extremely thorough. After my consultation it was agreed I would have a mixture of vaneer’s, crown,composite and Invisalign. The dentist was friendly and professional and after many weeks of deep cleaning and whitening I was called in for my vaneer and crown fit. They did not match my teeth so I had to go back another time because they didn’t look right. Eventually I went back for my final fitting and when I looked in the mirror I think he could tell by face that I wasn’t happy but I’m the type of person who doesn’t like to have confrontation. To me they didn’t really look any different or a big enough difference.The teeth were different in lengths some were rounded the others had square edges and some had grooves. When I went back for Invisalign on my bottom teeth he did adjust the teeth again with a file. I wanted the nice bright white smile that I thought i was going to get but for me this was not the smile I expected for the money that I had paid. Speaking with other friends and on social media I realised I didn’t really get any choice. I didn’t get to choose a colour or see any before or after a or see any sort of digital image to show what my smile would looked like. If I’m honest i do feel like allot of appointments were rushed.I did come in and see another dentist who was really kind and he said it’s all down to personal preference and he said he would speak with the original dentist and see what’s went on.He rounded the edges and I assumed he would be back in touch after speaking with the original dentist. My teeth don’t look really bad infact friends and family havent noticed any difference. I just feel like I wasted allot of money and I would like to save up and getting them done again.

Ewan and the entire team provide an excellent service and are very professional, yet friendly and approachable. Lisa, my dental hygienist does a very thorough job and is sensitive to the patient's possible discomfort and anxiety. Would highly recommend joining this practice.

I had a hygienist appointment with Elaine. I have sensitive teeth and have always hated having this done. I get very nervous. She always makes you feel at ease and is the only hygienist I have found who can do a brilliant job without any pain at all. You can totally relax knowing she is excellent at her job. So so happy I have found this place. I also highly rate my dentist, Jamie. He is super friendly and he remembers you each time you visit. He is thorough and professional. The staff are amazing at Ewan Bramley and a credit to the company.
