I don’t usually spend much time writing reviews, but because I care about the good of society, I don’t want anybody missing out on this hidden jewel hidden in the heart of M62 and Business Birchwood zone.I’ve been staying there for a few day whilst in the process of moving into the area and starting a new job, and I must say that it’s been an absolute pleasure staying over, and of course, looking forward to staying in the next weeks longer.The team is amazing, full of energy and giving the utmost care and attention well worthy of a 5* hotel. The rooms are nice and have an interesting design, and overall entertainment of having a pub with a pool table and a fuss-ball makes it a fun place to be.I must give special thanks to all those who were present during my stay making it an amazing experience: George, Tayla, El, Becka, Tom and Vicky. Oh and of course Maya for such an amazing understanding and support.By the way, I highly recommend The Club sandwich and the chicken wings from the restaurant menu, as well as the pasta and the hotdogs.

A very nice workman hotel located just off the M62 motorway on a very large industrial estate.Nice rooms with showers no baths.Very similar to premier inn Bit more upmarket than travel lodges but of the same theme staff very pleasant I had no complaints. Also breakfast are served from 6:30am on a weekend.Would stop again if in the area.I was at Haydock races and it was £22 in a taxi. X

Terrible place. First visit was during a heatwave when the thermostats in the rooms were stuck on 28C. Second visit they closed down the bar mid evening due to a system upgrade". On each occasion the staff were no help and clearly overloaded and hotel management were completely absent. Absolute joke given the prices they charge for rooms here. Avoid."

Spent 5 weeks of my life here and after settling in I enjoyed my time and would recommend to anyone in the area in need of accommodation. The rooms have been clean and the food had been of good quality each day. I have to mention the staff, El, Tom ( Seth), Taylor, Liam and George have gone out their way during my stay to make me smile and break up the monotony of being away from home. Thanks guys and gals, your a credit to the team. Keep up the good work!

The Metropolitan Haven Suites were an oasis of luxury amidst the urban hustle. The suites' refined design and amenities provided a sanctuary in the heart of the city. Our suite was spacious, and the city lights glittered through the windows. The concierge was attentive and directed us to hidden city gems. A stay here is a refuge for the soul.

Very nice clean room, food was nice. Friendly staff with a big up to ian and vicky, very friendly and helpful. Stayed for 4 days and was looked after very well. Nice and chilled environment in bar/retaurant.

Every meal has a service charge which is neither stated on the menu or told to you when you pay, quite dishonest. The food prices are very high, a basic pizza is £16 and its not competitive for Warrington, the other restaurants are cheaper. The portion sizes are small, a large chicken wings was what a regular size would look like elsewhere. The spaghetti bolognese was quite bland and like a school dinner

It's ok, mildly confusing bar/reception when you walk in but helpful staff, food was ok. Handy for a work trip to the nearby conference facility

Though this is the only hotel in Birchwood i have tended to stay in some of the more well known brand hotels in Warrington or even Leigh when visiting Birchwood simply because this hotel was unknown to me and was unsure. I can say my room was great and this service was polite, friendly, there was a bar and even a pool table. There are some reviews about location access, admittedly its not the easiest if you dont drive but it is possible i did it with a bus stop about 10 mins away, its not a million miles away from the train station too. Very happy.

The rooms are nice and the staff were helpful and understanding however I felt upset as there was a hidden charge to park the car (same as the low cost airlines that charge extra to carry your bag). I appreciate that some hotels situated in cities and near airports where the majority of guests arrive via public transport are charged extra for parking but for a hotel (in the middle of nowhere and just off the motorway and) that is only reached by car, to charge for parking is ridiculous.
