Ashgate Dental Practice

Came here as emergency 111 after a week of 2 different types of antibiotics and a night in hospital on morphine for my severe dental pain. I'm a ridiculously nervous patient and the lady dentist was the kindest, most sympathetic and reassuring dentist I've ever had. And took out my infected tooth.

Brilliant staff and a great quality of dentist here!They made me feel at ease and the dentist was very nice, I didn't feel judged for my poor teeth.Ill be going back soon and know I'll be in good hands, I highly recommend them.

I was referred by 111 for emergency dental treatment today after being traiged as I had pain, inflammation and a cracked tooth aswell as another filling missing that was causing pain. I was assured it would be sorted by this Dental Practice by 111. The receptionist on the phone said they would only deal with one problem (I had two emergency problems) I explained I needed this sorting as I have a serious primary immune deficiency and if this is left untreated I could potentially end up in hospital extremely poorly ( Due to the potential for infection) The receptionist then said well I need to find a dentist, to which I replied there are no NHS dentists and it's emergency treatment, so your comment in irrelevant! I was then told to go private or speak to your MP!The problem is all dentists are going private because you can get more cash in your back pocket! And nobody can find an NHS dentist because of this. I work and I still can't afford to go private!A little compassion and wanting to do your job under the NHS would be great! But it's all money money money! What do I pay tax and national insurance for????Absolutely appalling shocking service.Final thought.....Maybe if you didn't all go private then the NHS would not be strained trying to find people dentists as your all going private for your own financial gain!I can also see another person has also left a review after you told them the same thing!

First Visit to the practice this morning , got me booked in an emergency appointment, excellent service, the staff are so lovely and friendly, I saw Matt who was very professional, friendly and explained the treatment to me . Would highly recommend this practice to anyone

The best dental practice! Dr Trevor Hall is always so kind and puts the kids (and adults) at ease. The littlest child was a bit nervous about his dentist visit but Trevor was fab as always and littlest was completely reassured. Thank you ☺️

Absolutely incredible.I am not registered here but the staff are amazing.Had an extraction did not feel a thing, coming from a very nervous dental patient. I cannot praise the staff enough. Thank you to all at the surgery

Absolutely fuming really I used to be a patient with ashgate but I've been suffering with depression for a few years and let's say serten aspects of my personal care have been lacking. so I've got excruciating pain in my rear tooth and was told it wasn't that tooth it was the one next to it. (I know what tooth it is it bloody hurts when I put my tongue on it) to be then told to use mouth wash and them little brushes between them and that will be OK if not to goto the hospital won't be going back there but the reception staff are very pleasant

My NHS 111 appointment was nothing like expected. Told I needed a dentist!Could offer referral to remove teeth or go to another dentist for repair??? So a total waste, better still then rang me to say they forgot to take payment!! NHS 111 has sent me to another dentist, there now. So we will see.
