Don’t waste your time. And especially don’t bother with a visit if your consultant is Dr Anne Mccune - the RUDEST, most unprofessional ‘professional’ you could have the misfortune to meet. Highly recommend she has a lesson or five in customer service. I always thought people joined the medical field to help others? This one clearly didn’t.From the get-go she was abrupt, unhelpful and outright intimidating - to the point of bringing on tears! To customers - AVOIDTo the Spire - Do better.

I was told they would contact me to make an appointment within a week - it took them full two weeks. Then I was told the results would be in 3 to 5 days, today I've been waiting for exactly 3 weeks. However, they weren't lazy when it came to payment and claimed that very fast from my AXA plan. Very unprofessional, if you care about having your results in any kind of timely manner, do not go to Spire....Edit: Just wanted to make an edit and say that it's been over a month, and I'm still waiting.Edit no.2: Over 5 weeks of waiting, and they call me to tell me I have to come in again, my MRI wasn't readable or something. They tried separating images and failed. Five weeks of waiting for that information! Now I get that anyone can make a mistake, and while not pleasant I don't mind doing an MRI again - what I do mind is that they took over FIVE weeks to try to fix their mistake just to save some theoretical money while having absolutely no regard towards my health. Disgusting! If I could give zero stars I could! I originally come from what some people would call a third world country and the medical experience was never even remotely this bad. Your floors might be cleaner Spire, but your money grabbing souls are dirty.Edit no.3: Well I didn't think I'd be making a third edit to this review but here we are! I went to my repeat MRI, and you know those results that would come in 3-5 days? Yeah, two full weeks of waiting - so far. Oh and guess what, they are still great at taking money as I received another charge of over £500! So paid over £1000 to have two MRIs and no results for two months! WHAT A JOKE!

I took my son to see Mr Wilson for pinnaplasty surgery. Pleasant experience from beginning to start, good communication from the staff via email and telephone. My son has multiple different needs and he felt at ease and comforted during each visit and on the surgery day. If your looking to book please do not hesitate, thank you to everyone for the experience and to Mr Wilson for providing my son life long confidence. :)

Incredible, so worth paying. I have been properly acknowledged by a consultant for the first time and sent home with a diagnosis I can work with. I cant thank the team enough, all the staff were really kind.

I suffer from acne/rosacea issues and so far my experience Jane Samson has been excellent - she has a professional, comforting manner and all my questions were answered.I would say it is quite hard to get an appointment, and calling may be the best course of action. Last year I submitted a request via the online form on their website and didnt get a reply, but when I tried again this year I did get a reply - but had to wait for 3-4 months or so for an appointment.

Have just had a minor procedure with Mr James Henderson. Have found the service from start to finish excellent. All the staff from receptionists to nurses were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the procedure itself was carefully explained and delivered with care. Highly recommend Mr Henderson and the team at the Spire.

Wasted time and money and incurred stress travelling for a cardiac referral only to be told exactly the same thing as told by the referring doctor and to come back days later for a test that I was led to believe would be carried out on the same day.Would not recommend this facility if offered it as an option for a referral.

Prepare to be disappointed... I can honestly say that going to Spire Hospital has been such a poor experience. Can I start with the fact that they're a private hospital and they lost my blood tests?Really though, it started with my appointments. First of all, their communication is terrible. I booked two appointments - bloods and a scan - and never received confirmation via email so I didn't know where I was meant to go and had to call to find out. Then, when I arrived for my blood test, they told me I needed to do a stool sample and were surprised that no one told me. I live a considerable distance from the hospital (an hour) and had to take time off work to visit. So I then had to take more time off work to come back and drop off the sample. Then there was the dropping off of the sample. I was instructed to call in and book an appointment on the day I wanted to drop it off. So I did and got an assigned time. It turns out that they didn't book this in at their end, though, as the person on the phone 'was busy at the time'. So I then had to wait in the reception for over 30 minutes just to drop my sample off. An utter waste of time and no apologies from anyone. After this, I got an email from my insurance provider saying that the hospital had reported that I didn't attend my appointments. That was concerning, but I confirmed I did in fact attend my blood tests, scan and sample drop-off.And finally, I had a call from Spire last week saying they're very sorry but they lost my blood work and would I like to 'pop back in to get it re-done'. Except it's not a 'pop' as I live an hour away.I am so shocked at the standard of this hospital and the way it is run. They were clearly overrun which was visible when I was sat waiting, but it's not an excuse. This is peoples' time you're wasting - and vital time needed for necessary tests and scans. Not good enough.

I wouldn't recommend this service as I've been treated abysmally the cardiology department. Emails and voice messages have just been ignored. It's a sad day when one has to go back to the NHS due to the abysmal service I've experienced.

I have received 2 surgeries at the Spire, both done by James Henderson. Very professional and friendly, would highly recommend anybody having treatment here.
