Colne View Care Home - Care UK

Incredible care given at the end of my Nan's life. Especially Julie on the Blue Bridge floor. All of my family greatly appreciate your time and the genuine care provided

To date I cannot find fault with Colne View care home. Both my parents are now there and I am completely content knowing that they are being treated with dignity, compassion and genuine care from everyone who works there.

Absolutely fantastic care from this warm genuinely kind caring group of people, they have all been so amazing at settling my mum into the care home. Highly recommended.

I was a resident here for 18 months the carers were amazing, kind and caring ..under paid ..over worked and under appreciated. Home Manager just out to make her mark and money so Care UK love that. Lots of lies and closing of ranks if anything questioned..avoid if you have any sense

Recently my Mums health and wellbeing has significantly deteriorated.The staff (1st Floor) have been so kind, caring and patient with her - and it has been very testing at times - I am so grateful and know they are supportive to me.

At first this care home seemed lovely, beautiful surroundings and facilities, unfortunately the care received and our experience of it was not so lovely. We chose Colne view for my Dad as he suffers from Alzheimers so his behaviour can be unpredictable and Colne view is advertised as specialising in 'Alzheimer's and challenging behaviour'. From our experience they didn't seem able or willing to cope with any of his behaviour. We have since moved him to another home without a fancy cinema room and without any other added frills, but the management and staff actually seem to care about the residents rather than just the money. I would never recommend Colne View to anyone.

My father recently was admitted to Colne view and has since sadly passed away, I have to say that the care and attention that the staff gave him during his short time there was second to none and I can not thank them enough for their compassion in dealing with him .

I don’t post comments on Google very often unless I’m really impressed by something.I can’t thank Colne View enough for their help and kindness with my friend who struggled to find a suitable care home for the last three years. The staff are unbelievably kind and attentive not only to the residents but to the visiting family and friends. I believe good communication is key in any role in life and the communication I receive from Colne View with updates and the welcome i get on visiting is outstanding compared to all the other care homes that I have experienced.Im so happy to see my friend settled and treated with respect in a professional yet personal manner. I would recommend Colne View to anyone without a doubt .

Colne View is a beautiful care home. The staff are dedicated and very caring. The rooms and gardens are clean and well maintained. The level of care and support provided is excellent
