Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Whitehaven

Very helpful staff, but, like most things in Cumbria, this branch seems to be a forgotten backwater. Car availability is very poor, despite a huge amount of custom from nearby Sellafield. Sort out your non-commercial fleet, Enterprise.

First time ever renting a car out at the Whitehaven branch on 20th/21st Nov , was put into a lovely Corsa, completely clean, perfect drive everything about the contract and the car was explained in good detail by Owen, all staff on arrival were in such good spirits and so chilled and genuine to speak with. Once I dropped the car off I was checked out by Jack who was quick and informative also. The whole team on those 2 days were brilliant and effective, Caught the names of Hammad, Edward and Kris also, Can't fault this team at all, was brilliantly responsive to my young daughter as well while sorting everything. Cannot fualt these guys and their teamwork.

Very well organised went through throughly with car and contract. Before I sign anything. Nice Golf for 48 hours while my car gets fixed.

Been renting via enterprise since 2018, my thoughts on customer service still to this day remain outstanding. Absolute pleasure to still be renting through these guys and believe I have made a good few friends for life. Never a day where they won’t help unless a vehicle is due to be returned. Any problems no matter how big or small are always met with a kind and conscientious attitude. Highly recommend anyone needing a rental to get in touch with the guys at Whitehaven. Always met as a friend and always met laughing and joking with each other.

I didn't realize when my car broke down that I got car hire for 3 days with Enterprise. They have been great and the pick up and drop of service is brilliant. Nice and pleasant staff. Keep up the good work

My car broke down on Wednesday, a courtesy car was arranged through AA with Enterprise, spoke to Enterprise Wednesday at 17:20, said we'd be happy to wait until Friday morning for a car to ease things up for them.Friday morning arrived, waiting to go to work, promised a car first thing, call them around 9, told it'll be 10ish now. 11am, still no sign. Got to work late, couldn't get our children to school or do the important errands we'd moved until today. We rang to cancel but if we'd waited I'm guessing we'd still be waiting now at 12pm.

Worst place in the world! Let me down on the day! Cancelled my removals van because they said there was a van for me. Phoned me first thing on the day to cancel it and said there’s absolutely nothing they can do! Most unprofessional company there is.Now I’m left with a pregnant girlfriend and all my belongings on the street thanks too enterprise

Car was as expected. Couldn't pay with cash so that's a negative. Friendly staff.Had an issue getting a refund after returning car a day early due to a glitch in the system or the matrix as I called it. That was frustrating. A member of staff called Becky went out of her way to contact head office and arrange the refund. Restored my faith in staff that care.

Very friendly and accommodating. I asked to extend a few days which they dealt with quickly and then my car was ready early and they were quick to set up the refund.The peace of mind was worth the addition protection cost, would definitely use again.
