Ravishing Beauty Ipswich

Visited after being suggested to get mine & daughter's nails done for holiday. Daughter chose 2 lovely colours,had a manicure & although the polish looked lumpy she was happy. My manicure was not the greatest...left my thumb nail & index finger nail jagged then the colour I chose apparently needed glitter powder on it. Firstly,the powder wasn't smoothed in so it left a texture of sandpaper(they put the topcoat on over it without smoothing it in)& then they charged me £5 extra for a colour that I would have assumed was one single colour.If they had told me it had to have powder at extra charge I would have said no. Now i'm left with nails that feel like sandpaper & 2 jagged nails I will have to try to emery board myself before my holiday. Not very happy...I know I said I felt happy as I left but tried to save face as I was with my daughter.

Wouldn’t recommend. Booked for an eyelash perm and tint, was told to wait downstairs. Went down to be moaned at by a staff member that she’s extremely busy and has enough to do and because of how busy it is I’m expected to pay an extra £5. Like it’s my fault they overbooked? And accepted walk ins. Was then found by another staff member who told me to come back up instead and once finished I was extremely disappointed. My eyelashes in fact didn’t perm at all and the tint was all over my eyelids. I basically walked out looking no different just stained tint on my eyes, and blurry vision. The fact it cost £30 and I basically received nothing is disgusting. I have extreme anxiety and this was a reward for myself for actually leaving the house, and achieving something. And yet Iv walked away heartbroken that Iv wasted money and been moaned at.

The staff is friendly, warm, and cooperative. They greet me with happy faces all the time. No matter which beauty services I choose, I get the best results every time with the utmost perfection. Love this place and its atmosphere.Highly recommend Ravishing Beauty to everyone for any beauty solutions.

The customer service is so rude and very forceful pushing onto you all the treatments you are just enquiring about. I had gone there 4 years ago and loved it but that lady had left-when I went back I seemed to have gotten someone who no idea what they were doing in back massage and I had asked to get changed 15 mins because she was just digging into my spine which really hurt. I left-they wouldn't give my money back (I've never asked fory money back any treatments I've had in past elsewhere in last decade I've been going-I had moved into Ipswich) and asked me to come back for different staff another day I did. It was mediocre-today I went in with mum walk in.. They lady claimed I had hard skin and added £7 extra on top of pedicure treatment (I don't have hard skin actually as they don't know I get regular treatment elsewhere) I just wanted a birthday treat from mum. Asked about Indian head massage.. I wanted one of the treatment she started calculating both treatments and had to firmly correct her. She was pacing back and forth to her staff after telling me they accept walk ins.. I was sitting down little while and said to my mother this really isn't worth handing over my money when they treat me like this and said to them I'm off and walked out. It's disgraceful for lack of manners they have and forceful sale then wonder why small business fail. Nothing has changed and wasn't worth stepping in. After reading other reviews it seems they have similar issues

Been having my nails done for 15 years and never had a problem. Went here for the first time and within 2 days one of my nails have broken off. Paid 45 quid and nails took 2 hours to do. Lesson learnt... Never again. Do not recommend this salon. Waste of time and money

Ruby did a wax and tint of my eyebrows. Absolutely love them! They are the best ive ever had. She is also a really lovely lady and is very good at what she does! Thankyou ruby.
