Coventry Philharmonic Society

Coventry Philharmonic Society Home | The Coventry Philharmonic Choir currently has approximately 125 members ranging in age between 17 and 80. The choir, which is non-audition, attracts members to all sections – soprano, alto, tenor and bass – of the choir. Several times a year we give concerts that offer a unique opportunity to hear nationally famous soloists and music played by full orchestras and chamber music groups playing traditional musical instruments. In addition, smaller groups perform, for example, at weddings or local fetes, or to support charitable causes. The Choir promotes local musicians and soloists and encourages young singers and instrumentalists, and in the last few years, two of our younger members have won choral scholarships to Cambridge University.
