Good location and stock availability generally. -1 because some of the staff here hate their jobs, I had to interact with a staff member who was so grumpy and fed up of having to approve a transaction on a SELF SERVICE machine. The individual took their time doing so and didn't speak to me at all during the entire exchange if they had an issue with approving my age just say so!

Don't go with the name, the place is more costly than Lidl or Aldi but close by and working late makes up for all!!

I am a huge fan of this Poundland. There is an excellent snack selection and it always has decor essentials (baby shower balloons etc.)

Staff are always busy and attentive to customers, or so you would thinks but actually it's because there constantly on alert to robbery and abuse.

It's a Poundland so expect normal issues. Poor stocking and random locations and distracted staff. I once saw a family run out stealing and a staff member almost got run over trying to catch them. But it is a Poundland so hey ho!

Well it's called Poundland don't see many things for a pound but some stuff is ok I definitely would go back

It says so in the name. You get most things here for a pound or less. Most, not all. The staff is very friendly. For the student population that lives in, or passes around the area, this is a good place to stock up on things needed on the cheap. Great savings.

Popped in to get cheaper batteries and possibly a few other things, it's a very bizarre poundland. The front doors have been broken into. Sandwiches were missing staff working at a glaciel pace to stock shelves. Seems to attract a less than desirable element inside and no staff was on hand to help at the tills until asked for.
