Having cycled from Buxton and getting a puncture at Bakewell I was desperate to get it fixed. The lady at Peakland Cycles dropped what she was doing and fixed my bike straight away.Very kind, chatty and reasonably priced.I could not have been more pleased as it was not a walk I wanted to do.

Managed to get a flat tyre coming down a trail into Ashton in the Water. Limped into Peakland Cycles who fixed it there and then. Really helpful, really friendly and saved me from a long walk home. Really well stocked shop and very knowledgeable

Excellent service. I’ve used Peakland Cycles for my Pashley tricycle service and repairs for a few years and more recently for my Van Raam electric tricycle. Peakland Cycles were very supportive when I was nervous about the 5 mile bike ride to Bakewell and very accommodating when I needed to rearrange due to bad weather.

Fantastic bike shop with plenty of accessories/ spare bits. Great service as turned up with an inner tube that I struggled to fit in a very tight tyre and they did it there and then for me for free. Defo recommend.

Last week Charlotte gave my tired, old, and sadly neglected mountain bike a thorough overhaul. What a great job she's done! It now feels as good as new.Peakland Cycles provide a valuable local service and good ones like this should be supported - I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone having problems with their bike.

Lovely helpful friendly people. We just needed to borrow a pump to inflate the tyres of my father-in-law’s wheelchair, and the staff in Peakland Cycles couldn’t have been friendlier. We’ll definitely be returning and giving them some proper custom as they thoroughly deserve it. Thank you!

Super helpful, got me out of a bit of a pickle when my inner tube burst just before setting off back to Chee Dale on the Monsal trail.The Peakland shop assistant quickly changed the inner tube over for me and I was back on my way.The shop stocks a good range of bikes and accessories for its size and the assistant also advised on the best pump for me just in case I had anymore flat tyres on my way back.

I called in over the Easter weekend with a problem with a crank arm which would have ended our cycling plans for our holiday. Charlotte was brilliant, despite an issue which I had created with my lack of knowledge of bike mechanics Charlotte came up with a solution with her excellent knowledge and sorted the issue. What was really nice is that she wanted to assist me and although I had called in without phoning ahead she was so willing to help.If you have a bike issue there is only one stop you need...peakland cyclesGary
