New City Tyres

If I could give 0 stars I would !I called this company out for mobile tyres when I broke down on New Year’s Eve as recovery would have taken over 5 hours through my breakdown cover. They said they’ll take a £70 deposit and the remaining £230 when they come fit the tyres, I was stranded away from home as I was on route to london for new years from West Yorkshire, I broke down in Chesterfield and they gave me an estimated arrival time between 60-90 minutes. After numerous calls the guy arrived after almost 3 hours and said we need to pay £300 more!! I had no choice but to pay as I had plans for new year and I had to get down to London. When I asked for a receipt he said it’ll get emailed over. He checked the two tyres and said they’re fine and drove off, after driving for around 1 minute I realised the car was pulling to once side and I then saw that he put part 1 worn put dodgy tyres on!! The tyre had a puncture in!! Immediately I called him to return and he refused, he was very rude and disconnected the call, he advised me that I could still drive back to Bradford or to London with a puncture tyre??? he then blocked my number! I had my family with me who attempted to call him but he blocked everyone’s number. Avoid this company!! I was left stranded in the car for over 14 hours and I lost out on over £500 due to this company!! Will be taking them to court

Would give 0 stars if I could. Paid full price for a tyre that had a big bulge in it. They kept saying they'd knock me that price off another tyre but when I come to buy more tyres they keep acting as if its OK to charge someone for an illegal tyre with a bulge on it. Scumbags. Avoid this business at all costs, waste of money.

Fixed puncture.good guys.went to another company who wanted to sell new tyre @£70.00!!.these guys charged £5.00 to tighten valve.

Fitted a smaller tyre on my rims which nearly blew when car rigorously started bobbling coming back off the M606 . Took it back explaining the near death experience . They refused to accept responsibility saying it was my fault that I damaged it! Bunch of cowboys. People avoid at all costs and please check you have the correct tyre size fitted.

Gave me bold and cut tyres and charged for a new one. Went there and 2 customers were complaining about the bad tyres they had bought. Wouldn’t recommend

Got two part worn tyers 4 days after went back puncher was repaired 4 days after it went down again was told my rim was cracked 50 pounds for two tryers car would fail m.o.t with cuts on tyer wall rip off spend more time at shop than in ur car very bad service

Went last week,had a flat. Stayed open late to see me,put me 4 decenttyres on for £140 Good job,would recommend.
