Bramble & Nettle Gardening Services

These guys started off really keen, I went away for three months and left them to it, telling them to treat my garden like their own. Well I don't know what their garden looks like, but mine was very disappointing when I returned. So many weeds, that a lot of my plants have been smothered and have either died or are much smaller than normal.I asked them if they could come and do some extra time to catch up, they said they would, then they cancelled. The day before the normal booked date, they messaged and asked if they could arrive a 6am, I asked if we could compromise on 7am .Then gave me a speech about global warming and heatstroke. And how other customers accommodated them due to the weather. Bearing in mind that it is currently cloudy and 21° at 10. 30 am and is not due to get warm to 24° until 6 PM. As I was not prepared to be flexible and allow them to come at 6 AM, rather preferring 7 AM, they decided that I was not flexible enough and withdrew their garden services.My personal opinion is these guys are keen to start with, and come across as really friendly, but I think actually they have take on too much work, can't keep up and it's either their way or the highway.I was so disappointed, to the point I was in tears when I arrived home. My friends and family who saw garden didn't feel they had even been, while I was away. I would avoid them, and get somebody who is more honest, straightforward and will actually do the job you've asked them to do. I don't generally do bad reviews, but I feel so strongly about this people that I have made an exception.

We used Bramble & Nettle Gardening Services for the first time over the weekend after our garden had been neglected due to life circumstances, it looks fantastic and I'm no longer ashamed of it.They started early in the day due to the hot weather expected and I cannot stress enough how hard they worked to get our garden back to one that we can sit in and enjoy again. They found a surprise wasps nest which they worked around until it can be removed and briefed us and our eldest child about the safety around it.They had to take the garden waste through our house and I was expecting some mess but there was none.The ladies are lovely and their work is very reasonably priced. I thoroughly recommend them.

Bramble and Nettle have been twice this year. They have grafted to get our overgrown Garden back under Control. Today they have Mowed the Lawn. Weeded our sleepers. Cut Bushes very neatly. They have taken away the garden rubbish and left our garden looking very neat. Going forwards They will maintain our Garden monthly.I can honestly say they are hard workers.Thank you both for wjat youve achieved.Nicki

UPDATE.I have been using Bramble and Nettle since 2021 and they are still providing an excellent service. I was quite shocked when I read a recent 1* review by another customer. Obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion but such a dreadful review seems a little harsh particularly after the person was happy with their services for a considerable time. I too have gone away and have always received pictures of works carried out in my absence and works have always been completed to a high standard and am more than happy to continue to recommend.fantastic service either for a one off clearance or regular maintenance. A really bespoke service, tailored around your garden. Very conscientious and efficient and would highly recommend. Have used Bramble and Nettle since December 2021.

Used these wonderful ladies today and they removed a 12ft laurel bush in a day. They worked extremely hard and kept everything neat and tidy. Can’t thank them enough for such a superb job. They were very knowledgeable and gave great advice. Would 100% use them again

What a wonderful experience, the girls travelled over and stayed while they carried out all the work in my property. I can’t recommend them enough, the garden was a disaster zone before they arrived, it’s now beautiful again. They’re two lovely people as well.

Having been recommended to contact Bramble & Nettle, I’m very glad I decided to go ahead with the landscaping. After an initial visit, and discussions about what I had in mind, I received a pleasing quote for the labour. A date was given, and I was kept informed about what was needed etc. which I arranged with their help. All goods were delivered on time, and work started promptly. My husband and I are more than delighted with the results carried out recently (April). Bramble & Nettle Gardening Services, did exactly as I asked, with some very good advice tweaking my initial design. They worked tirelessly, and efficiently with perfect manners. The front garden looks wonderful, having transformed it. I wound thoroughly recommend this company for the vast array of gardening services they provide.

If you want under promising and over delivery, B&N are great. If you want uncompromising dedication and reliability, B&N are great. If you want real professionalism and friendly service then B&N are great. We have had numerous gardeners over the last 7 years and have been let down, or left disappointed. We have been using Brambles & Nettles for the last 4 months and they have turned round an unruly large garden into the best it could look. We trust them implicitly and have never needed to query anything regarding time spent or quality or value. They really are a pleasure to deal with and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Bramble & Nettle (aka Shelley & Tracey) are a powerhouse duo gardening team. They did a great job with a challenging tall hedge, and have come up with some great ideas for the rest of the garden. We’re looking forward to seeing them again soon.
