Great motel. Big room and bath with plenty of hot water. Everything was clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast is ready at 6.30 and adequate.

We stopped here for 2 nights and found it very pleasant clean quiet and comfortable and for the price you can't complain the breakfast is continental but enough to satisfy you and the staff very friendly would definitely book here again

A cosy little lodge set in a quiet surrounding. Very welcoming and very helpful. You do get a free continental breakfast included in your room.

Sky lodge has friendly staff and the rooms are spotless, well equipped and spacious. Showers were perfect. Breakfast room is unavailable at present with Covid restrictions in place so we got adequate breakfast boxes nice muffins, croissants and juice each day at check in and just before we went out the next day too.

Remote, quiet, location just off a main road. There are buses, Lodge seemed busy. Parking and late entry access. I did not stay however spent time with a relative here. Room seemed comfortable, clean but basic. Independent heating which clicked on/off all night. The breakfast was limited. £62 for double room. Hard to beat.

Think this is going to be one of those places where you either love or hate the setting of the hotel. The staff were all really friendly and honestly we loved the quirky re-purposing of an air base as a hotel. The room was clean and well appointed, I'd def recommend.

Really good value for money. Excellent use of what seems to have been an ex-RAF base. Basic but clean and comfortable, with friendly helpful staff. Breakfasts are continental buffet style with wide choice and very good value. Have already booked a return visit.
