I felt compelled to write this review, as hosting our Law Ball at this venue was an absolute pleasure. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and appreciated every aspect of it. A special mention is due to the dedicated floor staff and the bartenders, who graciously accommodated our numerous drink requests throughout the night. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Leah, Ola, and Lauren; their contributions made the night even more memorable if that could indeed be possible! Many thanks for hosting us; it was a splendid way to conclude the year together.-Alessandro (President, UWE Law Society)

Only visited Rick's bar but it was excellent, overlooking the harbourside . Food was freshly cooked and adapted for dietary requirements. Wine and cocktail perfect. Staff very welcoming.

Staff and location solid, toiletries smelled lovely and worked well, actual hotel building and details could use some serious love.Threadbare chair, dirty sides on the office chair, hole in a bath towel, haphazard wallpaper, no espresso machine even though they’re listed right on the google page. The downstairs bathroom counter has some significant damage. Attached parking garage needs a deep clean as the stairwells smell truly awful. Seems like a place that used to be nice but could use some real investment, detailing, and renovation by who ever owns the physical plant.

Really decently sized room, very comfortable for a single nights stay and incredibly well looked after, clean, and tidy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming at the reception. Breakfast was average, staff in this area incredibly regimented and a bit unwelcoming. However, a really good stay overall!

Great location in the heart of the harbour area. Lovely hotel, nice decor throughout. Good breakfast choices in contemporary restaurant overlooking the water. Service very good too. Standard bedroom came with a small bathroom but clean and well serviced, ironing board, iron , hairdryer etc. Car Park next to the hotel is charged at £14 for 24 hrs for guests. Be careful entering and exiting. Very tight ramps with very high kerbs that could damage your car. Would certainly chose this hotel again in the future.

Nice room with all the required amenities (tea/coffee, shower gel, TV, iron). The bathroom was a bit small but the only fault. The location is great- right in the centre of Bristol so easy to get to placesThere is also a car park which you can enter directly from the hotel and you can pay the hotel directly so this is handyThe staff were very pleasant - I would definitely stay again!

Certainly overpriced for what it is. Location was great and parking was easy. The rooms while having good amenities were a tad rough around the edges. (timescale in bath, flaking on taps and stains on undercovers in bed). The tech in the rooms was easy to use and a very nice touch. It was quite noisy at night but that's what you get being so close and convenient to the city centre.

Lovely hotel. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Rooms immaculate. Breakfast was good with smart cutlery, and a good range of food and great service. Five stars all round.

We attended a Christmas event here. This was a large-scale event that is understandably hard to manage and run. However, guests were kept packed in a smaller foyer area for too long a time. This made it overcrowded and noisy, not a pleasant experience. Let the guests in earlier. The event room was nice enough, well decorated. The food service was too slow. 2 hours to serve 3 courses? The last course came out at 9.45pm. It's a bit too late. The cranberry sauce was an afterthought. A server came round with a tray of it after the main meals were finished, despite us asking for it at the beginning.Lighting - during the meal, the was good. However after the meal the lights remained bright. They should have been turned down when the music started to create a better atmosphere. This event could have been a much more pleasurable, if a bit more though was put in to the guest experience
