Loved the 'new to me' Berlingo I purchased it was in immaculate condition and drove perfectly. When there was an issue with one of the injectors (no one's fault) it was taken back under warranty immediately to be fixed. I was also offered a courtesy car which was delivered to my door next day.Absolutely fantastic service delivered with a smile.....above and beyond all my expectations especially from a small business!

My daughter got her first car here over a month ago , only been driving it 3 weeks since she was 18 . They brought the car to our house , fantastic service .Because we have had no rain recently,she didn’t use her wipers then we had rain a month after we got car and the wipers wouldn’t work , I rang them and they said bring the car in , she did and they sorted the problem out , highly recommend this place and thank you for a fantastic service !

TLDR: bought a car, it broke within hours of getting it home.I recently bought a car from these people and now feel compelled to leave a review after my horrible experience.I saw a car I liked, went to see the car and took it for a test drive and everything was fine. I was given a price for part exchange which I was happy with and went ahead with the deal. Bought the car, buying process was easy and hassle free. THEN. I got the car home, driven it to see a friend, went to go home and the car wouldn’t go in gear. The car I bought 6 hours prior, was stuck at the roadside and was un drivable. Eventually, after around an hour and getting a family member to come and assist, the car went into gear. Not ideal when you’ve just paid £10,000 (inc part ex) 6 hours prior!I then contacted Peter to let him know I’d be back in the morning for him to fix the car. This meant taking the day off work - last minute. Peter agreed and was happy for me to bring the car back to be fixed. When I got to the premises, another person who worked there was so shocked the car had issues! Jumped in the car, immediately said ‘the clutch needs bleeding’ (it didn’t). He also said ‘it isn’t a disaster’! HA! It was for me when I was stuck at the side of the road on my own and subsequently left with no transport!Peter then phoned me some time later that day to say the car has been to the garage, and their going to start by replacing ‘x part’, if that doesn’t work we will then replace ‘y part’, if that doesn’t work, we will then replace the clutch. After speaking with family members, we asked for a new clutch to be fitted as opposed to testing other bits first as this would’ve been more trips back and forth to the garage (I’m not local) and more time off work which wasn’t possible. Peter agreed. A car which was sold in ‘excellent condition’ should not need a clutch replacing the same day of purchase.After careful consideration and my complete loss of trust in these people and the car, I asked for a refund and to take my old car back. Peter agreed (I don’t think he had much choice as the car wasn’t fit for purpose). He also told me he was doing the honourable thing.I then had another trip back to the garage to get my refund and my old car back. The best bit - Peter wanted to withhold my deposit until he got the log book back! He had sold me a heap that was broken, put me out of pocket and caused me all kinds of admin chaos (loans, taxing cars, changing insurance). I made it clear to Peter he was going to refund my full amount, including deposit. He reluctantly did after telling me ‘there are no winners in this situation’ and that he’s lost out etc. What a thing to say to a customer.When I received the log book, I filled it out and immediately sent it back to DVLA and changed ownership back to Peter/ the garage. I sent Peter screenshots of the receipt, including tracking number.I thought that was the end of the matter and I actually apologised to Peter for being assertive/argumentative (I think many would be in my position!) - A week or so later, I received a message from Peter to say he hadn’t received the log book (bear in mind I’d already sent proof of sending it) and that he told me NOT to send log book to the DVLA and that he could’ve done it online. No way was I giving this company a log book back, with my name on it. Peters text message was rude and sarcastic ‘thanks a lot’ etc. I wasn’t going to leave a review, but after receiving this message I feel compelled to.I blocked him after this without responding as I wish to have nothing further to do with this garage.To conclude, if you want a car that you can drive for longer than 6 hours and don’t get hassle from the staff/ owner, go elsewhere. However, if you enjoy drives to Southport, desperately trying to book days off work, a car with a faulty clutch and wasting your money - this is the place for you! Expensive lesson learnt for me.
