Kauri Fine Foods have catered 2 events for us so far - a Christmas party and an afternoon buffet, both for around 40 guests. On each occasion the planning and preparation was faultless with Head Chef, Shelley Jones, taking time to discuss options and make suggestions about what would work well and delivering exactly was was discussed smoothly, professionally and on-budget. And the food ... oh, the food! To date I have eaten the mashed potato, the steak pie, the lasagne, the quiche, the sausage rolls, the haloumi sandwiches, the egg mayo sandwiches, the diet-be-damned chocolate brownies, the roast ham, the cream scones and they have all been simply delicious. This is a great local company with professional and friendly service and food that will wow your guests and leave you wanting seconds. I cannot recommend them highly enough. SM

I decided to surprise my husband with the Gourmet Dinner for Two from Kauri Fine Foods on Valentine’s Day and what a treat it turned out to be. When Shelley delivered the food it was packaged beautifully, with such care and attention, and the menus were customised with our names and tied with a ribbon. The instructions for ‘cooking’ the food were straightforward and worked perfectly, and there was lots of food provided. Everything was gluten free, as I am a coeliac, and absolutely delicious! We couldn’t believe how easy it was to have this wonderful high quality dinner on our plates with such little work required by us! The whole dinner was fabulous and I would strongly recommend anyone to order food from Kauri, I know we will be!
